I usually don’t do these kind of thingsand I think Miami’s draft board should do the talking. Not a specific position.I don’t agree in marrying need and BPA like Ireland would do. Simply take thebest player, you can never have too many good football players. However thiswould be the ideal draft IMO..

1[SUP]st[/SUP] Round: Kevin White WR WestVirginia

2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Round: Maxx Williams TEMinnesota
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Round: Mike Davis RB SouthCarolina

Thoughts?

Also Maxx Williams received a 3rd round projection from the advisory board so I think he may be there at #46

All offense? Interesting. I don't mind any of the picks. If we were able to land in FA Rolle-FS, Knighton-DT, Mauleuga-MLB, and Tramon Williams-CB. I could see it. But then we would be spending all our young assets on Offense and bypassing the Defense. I'm not against it if we could hook up the FAs above.

i cant deal with the mike lb position the way it is another season...i just can't...of course there's only one of them in this draft that i think moves the needle and displays what i'm looking for...figures

Tannehill would really thrive with Kevin White, Mike Wallace?, Jarvis Landry, Maxx Williams, Mike Davis, Lamar Miller, and Dion Sims around him.

Like the 1st 2 picks....not real big on Davis.i think we can steal Coleman in the 4th/5th.

If the 1st 2 picks are offense I'll be shocked if we don't get a DT or CB in the 3rd although CB is super thin this year.

Honestly if there has been a year where we can drop down this is the year.Thats my hopes this draft. Not a lot of young depth on this team.Im sick of FA spending on Overated hogwash we get.

Kendricks at #46 wouldn't be bad but you know you can't reach for a position of need for the sake of filling a position. Kendricks is gonna be a solid starter but is he going to be the best player available? Unlikely. I think the best bet for the MIKE position is to bring in Spikes and let him be a 2 down thumper.

Also I pm'ed you did you get it?

the way kendricks looks to me unless he's got bad medical he's not seeing pick #46

Really? You think that highly of him? I'm gonna go back and watch a couple tapes to review my initial grade I like him, but I really don't think he is a better football player than Maxx Williams. Who we both said would even be in the realm of possibilities at #14.

kendricks instincts are better than his brothers i dont see many false steps he shows very good awareness and feel in coverage and i think he's a better athlete than i expected on tape...although if he comes in under 6 ft i think that could hurt him

i mean he's clean a ton but you see also that he's ahead of the play a lot and so for me that helps me think it will translate in the pros the same...that he will be ahead of things

watch that uva tape to open the season...that's pretty damn good right there...like exactly what i'm looking for...but again he's clean...but he's also ahead of the play and he shows very good awareness in coverage for a mike...and he also shows very good range

We don't pick 46th we pick 47th in the 2nd round and I think he'll be there unless someone trades up to get him which is possible given the lack of depth at ILB in this draft.

I still have questions if Kevin White will be able to learn a playbook quick enough to have an effect year 1. And at this point I want to win now. If he interviews well and tests well, I'd be cool with it though.

Still not sold on Maxx either, think he may get over drafted because he's one of the better TE's in a terrible TE draft. I think we can get O'Leary much latter, and with our current TE's healthy we should be fine at TE. O'Leary lacks the ideal size, and probably isn't your ideal seam threat but he can definitely do it, and is as tough as any TE as I've seen in a awhile, I think he adds a nice dimension to our offense at a low cost.

O'Leary reminds me a lot of Welker, measurables don't do service to his overall game, and he's highly underrated at this point. He can also come in right away and play Clays position at TE/HB IMO.

If I'm drafting a TE high I want a dominating Seam threat, I didn't see much if that from Maxx at all.

Mike Davis is a pick you can't go wrong with IMO, reminds me of CJ Anderson.

i don't....looks 1st round to me...im gonna watch a few more games but right now i have a 1st round grade...i'm thinking hes gonna lock that up next week...his range is way better than perrymans...as is his coverage skills...i'd love for him to come in 6 ft and 235

mike davis has nice burst to him for a big back...i dont know if he fits the pass catching this offense requires but i havent looked much either...i do think miami will add a big back this year

I know I'm not alone in this but I told you last week he was the best MLB in this draft.

Although Fin Thirteen said he had an injury history which I wasn't aware of.
