since alot of people have been fascinated with use trading down with dallas, i figured i'd give it a shot and see what we could get in the draft.

We trade Dallas our #1 overall Pick (so they can take McFadden) for their #22 and #28 overall picks in the first round and #60 in the second. Maybe even a player to make the value more even like Carpenter (i hear he was on the block or a pick next year or late pick this year). that would give us. 2 firsts and 3 seconds (including back to back picks. Sweet). There is ALOT of Good Talent around these picks. now we could take...
#22 possibilities...jeff Otah Ot Pitt/ Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma
#28 Possibilities...Pat Sims DT Auburn/ James Hardy WR Ind./ Antoine Cason CB Ariz.
#32 Possibilities...Frank Okam DT Texas/James Hardy WR Ind.
#59 possibilities...Chris Ellis DE VT
#60 Possibilities...Martellus Bennett TE Tex A&M
#65 Beau Bell MLB UNLV

here would be our best...
1st#22..Jeff Otah OT Pitt. 6-6 340: Big LT (BP kind of guy)
1st#28..James Hardy WR Indiana. 6-7 220. 4.53 (40)
2nd#32..Frank Okam DT Texas. 6-5 320. Can Play NT for 3-4
2nd#59..Jack Ikegwuonu CB Wisconson. 6-1 201 4.38 (40) OR Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tennessee State. 6-2 182 4.37(40)
2nd#60..Martellus Bennett TE Texas A&M. 6-7 253 4.72 (40)
3rd#65..Beau Bell MLB UNLV. 6-3 245 4.57 (40)
4th#97.. Kevin O'Connell QB San Diego State 6-6 235 4.49 (40) (might be a reach but we don't have a 5th rounder)
6th#161.Corey Lynch FS Appalachian State 6-0 205 4.57 (40) Great Special Teams guy. 24 career Picks and 6 blocked FG's.
Vertical: 34.5; Broad Jump: 10.5; Bench press: 15x225 lbs.
7th#193. i dont see any stand outs but i guess BPA or if someone falls.

Possibilities:
4th round: Kendall Langford DE Hampton 6-6. Weight: 294 4.92 (40).
4th round: Jordy Nelson WR Kansas ST. 6-3 217 4.60 (40)
5th round: Andrew Bain OG Miami 6-3 330 (massive guard who can help any run game)
6th round: Jason Rivers WR Hawaii 6-2 186 4.50(40)

first round for James Hardy i think that would be to early to take him in the draft and we took a WR last year in the First i dont know if i completely agree with taking him in the First i think that would be a reach

true we did take 1 last year BUT he isnt a #1 Wr. we have no WR's after him on the depth chart. James Hardy is rising quick. hardy and ginn would be awesome. and remember Our staff that we haev right now DIDNT take a WR that year. they are gonna want there own guys. if this draft happened our team would be above average. id love this draft.

Don't like some of the picks. Especially number 32.

frant okam is the highest ranked guy that is big enough to play NT in a 3-4.
i also liked red bryant but he would be gone by our next pick. the other DT are too small to play NT. who would you have taken

This really is an interesting mock. Not only do the Dolphins trade down 3 times, but Early Doucet is picked twice, at #28 and #30.:err:

:sidelol: Look out Mel Kipper, the Football Jabber knows its stuff. It can even create doppelgangers of players.

According to the value chart, we're trading 3000 points for 1750 points.

but not if you add a player like carpenter
My initial total was off, I accidentally included the 32nd pick(which we already have). You're talking 1250 points( = to the 11th overall pick) we'll lose. And we shouldn't be trading for players like Carpenter. That's how we fell into this rut. (check out my sig)

there is no way we are gonna get complete value for this pick. but we could add a first rounder next year to it. so we would have two first rounders next year

that chart is a bunch of BS. no one is gonna look at that chart when they make the trade. you are saying you wouldnt take 2 first rounders 1 second rounder and a firs next year for the #1 overall just cuz we lose out on a few "value chart points"?
