Dude, being realistic is one thing, but u damn always seems the most pessimistic fan on this board. WTF? All this cannot happen, now saying "We have a better chance of getting hit by an asteroid" is too much to me. Talking about our chances this year I'd rather read bills fans' coments than yours. I respect your point of view of everything..just wanted to say mine. hell :yell:

For some reason I'm getting the feeling Mega's not a fin fan.....

WYATT also beleives that the time has come for dolphin fans to fill up the stadium and get loud and support the dolphins .

Yes, it's about time we contribute to a home field advantage. I was at UF when Spurrier arrived. Like him or hate him, he took that program to the next level. One of the first things he did was create the "Swamp" and get the fans involved, making it a much more difficult place for opposing teams.

It is actualy not that far fetched, except for Ricky coming back to old form and not being pissed about being a 3rd down back.
If he has a problem with it then he shouldn't come back. Doesn't mean a hill of beans to any of us I would venture to say. It's d@mn nice to have an awesome backup and 3rd down back like him. But I'd be (and was) just fine with Ronnie Brown and Sammy Morris.

Hopefully Ricky prove more than just a distraction. He needs to come back with his head on straight.

Just imagine if all of the "ifs" go our way:

  • Our "troubled boys" (Ricky and Boston) come back to the fold
  • Ricky is happy to be a backup, not carrying the weight of the team on his shoulders. Allows Brown to emerge as the starter with a great backup/short yardage option.
  • Boston returns to form. I don't care who starts and who's #3; I'll take Chambers/Booker/Boston against their #3 corner any day. And oh, btw, McMike is now loose on their linebacker!
  • Vernon Carey decisively wins the LT spot. Carey, McKinney, and Hadnot become the nucleus of a young well coached line, with McDougle , James, St. Clair and DMac are there for some veteran leadership.
  • The big one: AJ clearly emerges as the starter, and behind a much improved line with a great 1-2 punch running game and a great receiving corps, lights it up.
  • We get Manuel Wright for a third, essentially getting a free years use of next years draft pick. Our DLine now has youth with he and Roth, and veteran QB-hunters in JT and Carter.
  • Crowder and Pope push Eddie Moore to put up or shut up. Moore wins the OLB position while Crowder and Pope backup and prepare to take over for Zach and Seau(who has a record breaking retirement year!)
  • Reggie Howard, knowing he's gone next year and is essentially in a contract year, plays his guts out and actually earns some of his salary. Travis Daniels contributes quickly, having played for Saban last year. Madison has a probowl year. All the while, Will Poole is healing :)
  • Yeremiah Bell stays healthy and lives up to his hype. Tillman/ Tebucky Jones holds down the fort, while Bua is regularly featured on "Jacked Up"
  • Wes Welker proves last year wasn't a fluke, while Mare proves the last couple were.
I know it can't all happen, but doesn't some of it almost have to? Optimistically looking forward to this year!

Some of it can, not all of it will happen though.
