If Brees signs with New Orleans today...

hold onto your horses , brees is gonna talk to everyone before he makes a decision, i say the earliest monday morning
 
His Agent is using The Saints...

It is all a Smoke and Mirrors act...WHO really wants to play for a Team that has NEVER won a Thing???
The Agent is trying to get the most $$$ for his Client...
You would do the same thing...
 
i know he has no chance of winning a SB with the saints but if they pay him big bucks.... he will go there.. he has the chance to be the star of the team.. not overshadowed by LT..
 
i just don't understand why NO would go after him unless they aren't sold on leinart. if they are stuck taking a player at that position i guess they'd pick ferguson?

Before all this started the speculation was that Brees would visit the Dolphins 1st....now he starts with NO?

Could be that he WANTS to go there...but hey we could speculate forever until this thing is said and done!

We need a lot more then a QB so we are looking to trade out of #2 stay in the top 5-10 spots pick up a 2nd and 3rd round pick.

Not if an agreement has already been reached. vikings are looking to get rid of DC, which squashes any demand, especially since it is now reported that no other teams were offering deals or even asking.

The deal is we will get culpepper if Brees signs with NO. I think Brees wont because they will draft a bigtime Qb and run into the same situation as SD.
 
I'm fine with getting Culpepper......The man is a stud.

Until last year he was in EVERYBODY'S top 5 QB's list in the NFL.

He will rehab and return to his pro bowl caliber self!

An agent within the league Thursday who has been hearing that Cowboys coach Bill Parcells is telling his former assistant, new Saints head coach Sean Payton, to go hard after San Diego free-agent quarterback Drew Brees. Parcells is said to be selling Payton on Brees as a much surer bet than drafting USC quarterback Matt Leinart with the No. 2 overall pick. Now wouldn't Brees to New Orleans shake up the draft's top five? Not to mention the Dolphins' hopes of landing themselves a starting quarterback upgrade?
 
I thought he was going to visit the Dolphins first as well. This isn't good if he is going to the Saints first. He might not even get out NO without a contract signed.
