the only reason that brees would sign with the saints over the dolphins would be money...the team sucks, the city is in bad shape cause of the hurricane...brees would immediately make us a playoff team and possible sb contender with a few more pieces while the saints are in total rebuilding mode...unless brees is just using the saints to get us to give him more money...i always here brees say how he wants to win a championship but if he goes to the saints instead of the dolphins than that is total bull****...it would be all about the money...and than i'll be happy with culpepper...but brees is my 1st choice...

Ive heard hes got an ego to go with the best of them (as I would expect of most NFL QB's) but he may not want to share the spotlight with zach, jason, chamber... SHAQ, so maybe he thinks he can "run" NO or somehow be its saviour or some ish like that, plus get more dough while hes at it.

I respect Brees. He's being smart visiting New Orleans. I mean, they're going to make him a HUGE offer, and if I were him, I'd certainly be curious to see exactly what's on the table. He may not sign it, but he can use it to his advantage once he gets to Miami....

:yeahthat: I wouldn't be mad at Brees or NO if he went there. I think the area deserves something to be happy about, he would greatly improve their team. That being said, I hope we still get him, but if we don't I would love Culpepper (and draft a rookie - he could put us over the edge and deep into the playoffs).
