If Brian Brohm is there at 32, do we draft him?

Great question. I would rather stay away from QB's at 1, 2a, and 2b, are worry about getting 3 starters right away. Brohm at 32 would be great value, however.

Good question and a dilemma for sure - but realistically I think between Carolina at 13, Tampa at 20, SF at 29 and now the Favre-less GB at 30, he'll be perceived as value pick and taken out of play.

ill love for us to draft brohm, but i believe ur right he is probably gone by then.

If he drops to # 32 you have to give Brohm a look.

Brohm is the best QB in the draft(albeit a poor class of QBs), it would be hard to pass on him.

I also rate Brohm as the best QB in this draft, he's very accurate and reads defenses well, which are the two main attributes you need at the NFL level.

I'm very excited about our pick at 32, because someone is gonna be there that's going to be a good football player. Brohm would be great, maybe Dan Connor slides, almost definitely there's going to be an excellent CB available there, maybe a T like Baker or a WR like Hardy. I really think the 2nd round is going to be extremely strong this year as there's a lot of top quality depth in this draft. There are anywhere from 6-10 CB's in this draft that can be pro-bowlers, and almost as many OT's. We may even get a good CB in round 3.

As for Brohm, I doubt he'll be there at 32, but if he is I'd be quite happy to get him. I think we're targetting Flacco or Henne for our 2b selection. If we don't add a QB at all, I'm not going to be upset. Brohm is going to be good, Flacco is a project, Henne isn't going to become good until he's a veteran (all my opinions mind you). This draft is about CB's and OL ... and I wanna come out of it with some of those quality CB's and OL's that we so desperately need.

It will be interesting to see if we trade back into the 1st round if Brohm reaches pick 20 or so. I dont have any link to say we would like to do that, just kinda throwing an idea out.

I say yes big time. Brohm will be an all pro qb in the nfl

If we could start out with J. Long in the first and back that up by Brohm with 32. I think it could be the start of the best draft seen in a long time. This is a deep draft at a lot of need positions for us. I think we could get starters with atleast 4 of our picks and more if we pick up some extra picks thru trades or comp.

I would have to agree with almost all of that....good reply

It's almost like we have two first round picks. There are going to be some great players there at # 32.....so even if we go with BPA over need, we are sure to get someone who can start right away.

Miami's most pressing need is a Left OT so we have to take one with #1 or 2a- can't wait for 2b. If Ireland (!) wants a QB at 2a it has to be Jake at #1.

I've seen Calais Campbell dropping out of the first round. If we get J. Long in the 1st, Campbell would be a dream pick at 2a imo. I really feel he's a top 10 talent.
