If the Jets lose to the Broncos today and we win our last 4 games (including beating the jets in ny) we have a serious chance of winning the division.

We will both be 11-5.
We will both be 4-2 in the division.
The difference is... the Jets will have one more lost in the AFC.

of course we have to beat the bills san fran and kansas city to get to this point... but we could be looking at a huge showdown in ny and just the opportunity to win the division or make the wildcard in week 17 is enough for me.

At this rate, NYJ is going to lose.

Slow down chief. This team is winning games by the skin of their teeth. We most likely lost Smiley for the rest of the season which isnt good. None of our remaining games are gonna be easy. Im not complaining because im really proud of the season we have had so far but Miami is not in the Jets or the Patriots league this year. Your setting yourself up for dissapointment if you believe we can win the division.

At this point I'm not too worried about the division, I am more concerned about getting a wild card spot. As much as I would love to take the division and I am still cheering for it but I do think the Jets will end up taking it. Colts and Ravens both won already and the pats are playing right now. Our team has had some injuries the last 2 weeks and we need to be playing a lot better than what we are to have a shot at the division because it wont work in week 17 against the jets if thats what it will come down to.

I haven't been one who jumped all over the "Jets being the best team in the AFC" bull****. This just goes to prove it. They are very beatable. Hopefully Denver hangs on. Pittsburgh is also playing very well against the Pats. If they both lose this could be the best day for the Fins in a long time.

This "league" you are referring too, Is it the "Roger Godell Man Love" league?

I love your bright outlook but we are still a year away. I would be crazy happy with a 9 win season. We are not gonna go to the playoffs this year with all the new injuries, we are just not good enough yet to overcome them.
One more injury to the OL and they will be asking the beer man if he can run block. Enjoy the ride fellows, it isn't gonna happen this year but we are gonna get there.

It is a long road to the playoffs and it will take no errors by us to get there. I believe we would have to win out to get in, plus probably have some help from other teams.

Some help from other teams seem to maybe be happening this week.

Steelers 20
Patriots 10

Broncos 27
Jets 14

Helps looking really good for today. I agree we need to win out but it's exciting that we're still in the hunt.

Edit:

Pittsburgh couldn't punch in the 7 and Denver turns the ball over in the end zone. Still looks pretty good.
