who is with me on this thought....i mean yeah LT is amazing but i just think he knows how to use his RB's and ronnie has the talent its just hard to prove when you only get 12 carries a game......im intrested to see what ronnie can really do and if cam becomes HC then i believe we will find out how good Ronnie is.....

I think ronnie gets pro bowl consideration next if Cam becomes HC.
 
Yyyeaah, that's even an understatement.

The one thing I've always appreciated that they do in San Diego is how they spell Tomlinson with guys like Michael Turner, and before him that square-bodied guy that we actually had on the roster for a bit.

Those guys have always had good production in SD to go along with Tomlinson. If Ricky comes back...this could be a good offense.
 
I agree and I'll add that who we consider as weapons will be utilized as well.

Another plus is that the playbook will either be taken out of Mularkey's hands or he'll be fired.

Cam is who I want right now, then Gailey and then Capers. NO to MORA.
 
Ronnie does have some of the same type of qualities as Tomlinson does as far as catching the ball out of the backfield. He isn't as elite as a runner, but they do have some of the same qualities.

True, and the running plays will be more creative as well, providing more chances for Ronnie - and possibly Ricky (if not, someone else) - to get to the open field more.

Ricky is sick in the open field. And if Ronnie gets a head of steam going, look out!!

Heck, even if Gailey gets the job, I still expect more from Ronnie and Ricky/other.
 
I'm all for any offensive minded guy that can help this team play more exciting football and hopefully win too. :wink:
 
I love the running game and am excited to see what Ronnie and Ricky can do under Cam's Scheme or Gailey in that respective order. We could have one of the most explosive running games in the league.
 
we still need to work on the o-line though. You cant run without talent up front.
 
His numbers should improve.

But he has pretty good stats right now, considering that he's missed multiple games because of injuries in both years.

He is a better back than many people give him credit for being...

McMichael is the guy who should really do better based on how they use the TE in SD compared to how we have been using him...

Especially since Randy is known as such an athletic pass catcher. He's the guy that has to be most stoked about the Cam Cameron talk.

Not sure what to make of it from a WR standpoint. Ronnie Brown and Randy McMichael stand the most to gain.

The key will be what we do with the line. To allow Randy the opportunities, we have to improve our outside pass protection. Too often, we have had to keep Randy in for pass protection on the left side.

If allowed to release, Randy should get a lot of opportunities down the seam. Look at how Novacek was used in Dallas under Norv and Gates in San Diego under Cam.

I wonder how long it will take for the Cam supporters to start bitching because Cam is giving the ball to Ronnie 350+ times a season? They certainly ripped Norv, who is basically Cam's mentor offensively, for "giving the ball to Ricky too much" despite the fact that Ricky wanted to go to Oakland just to be in Norv's offense.

This has got to stop! Cowher is not coaching this year... is it really that hard to realize that? He wants time off with his family.
