Eh just watching NFL Live and John Clayton stated the Tampa received 6th & 7th round offers during the draft for Chris but they declined it, but he might actually not even make the team so John said that NFL teams should call and inquire for Chris because Tampa are listening to offers.

Well let's just say he doesn't get traded and gets released, will the FO pick him up? And shall we pick him up will you be against it.

Unless we are trading Beck or someone gets injured we dont need Simms . I do like Simms though.

The fact that those ridiculously low offers was the best tampa could get tells you we don't need him.. Not with 3 young QB's already in the stable.

I think Chris can beat out Josh and earn the 3rd string job, and Chris still has alot of potentials.

If he were cut before TC began, meaning he would have sufficient time to learn the playbook and truly compete in camp, I would think so. He could battle McCown for the third spot (I mean third roster spot, whether its backup or third string, that would be TBD).

I think the injury Chris had 2 years ago took all the wind out of his sails,he isn't the same guy he was before it happened.I think most teams would be hesitant to take him on due to his injury and it really seems he isn't as confident anymore.
I find it pretty sad....and I hope he gets it back because before he got hurt he was really good.

Before we got Henne, I'd say he'd be worth a look. Now forget it.

The low pick offers were because everyone knows they're gonna have to cut him. With their draft pick of Josh Johnson this year, the Bucs now have 6 quarterbacks on their roster......everyone knows hes gone and thats why the low offers, not because hes not a good QB. If he wasnt asking much I'd take a shot at him, plus, if he makes the team we can always trade him later. Quarterback always go down in camp and the first couple weeks of the season, he might be good trade bait.

I don't believe we're going to do anything more at the QB position this year. Picking up McCown drafting Henne keeping Beck seems like these are the horses we'll sort out the year with.

Unless someone looks like dung in camp, then well who knows...
