Sorry to get off the win last night but I just saw that Allen Rossum got caught by SF to make room for Crabtree. If Cobbs injury is serious and a roster spot opens would Rossum be a good move? He could be the return man we are lacking(especially since Cobbs does it now)

What do yall think??

Or we could just put a player already on our roster who is good at returning kicks back there.... Ted Ginn. Or would that make too much sense?

Sign him. Ginn is too important to the offense to risk injury returning kicks.

I mentioned that in the Cobbs injured thread earlier this morning. I thin it would be a good move if Cobbs is out.

The reason I bring this up is I think with a good return game and better field position we could make up for our lack of deep threats slightly and use the running game to our advantage on a short field

I don't think we replace cobbs with just a returner. Maybe they try Hartline at kick returns, I do think we will finally get to see turner now that there will be an open spot.
Maybe Chris Clemmons will use his 4.3 speed and shifty ability and help us on kick returns and kick coverage.

The thing about Cobb's is, if you watch the wildcat plays, he is always lined up to the right blocking the corner that helps spring the runs to the right. We need someone who can step in and block, play special teams, and run the ball when needed. Hopefully it doesn't hurt us to bad losing him?

Rossum would be an upgrade...I'd like to see hartline and Clemons get their chances first though

Again, I'm confident that Lex can step into his role.
