Hello,

I read many report that tell us that culp could be out of his fin job.

So, if cam think culp isn't the answer, (I hope he's our answer but I trust in cam judgement) who do you prefer if you have the choice Green or Carr.

My choice would be carr because h's younger and he beat us in 2 game with every time good stats and good leadership.

Who would be your choice ?

Green and a rookie to sit behind him for a year or two.

:yeahthat:

Green already knows the offense that Cameron will be installing. He could hold down the position for a couple of seasons while we find our true franchise Qb of the future....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

That's kind of a trick question. If Green comes in with thoughts of drafting someone to learn behind him for a year or two before taking over, then Green. If there are no plans on drafting a QB this/next year, then Carr (but I worry about Carr being another Joey). If we don't go with Green/rookie, then I'd rather roll the dice with Cpep than chance Carr being a bust.

Why not carr and a rookie, OK green know the cam system but if he' s hurt half of the season or forever (another concussion could really happen with our OL problem), carr isn't a bad idea in my opinion and seem more a safe bet.

Do Poll

Hello,

I'll take Carr. Do a Poll.

Because Carr is a bum.

Green ??? Are you guys kidding me...Why do we want an ok QB who's recently had his brains scrambled and is very prone to have it done to him again (medically speaking) over a younger guy who needs, at the very least, a change of venue. Carr may not be the answer, and if not that would have to be a chance we'd take, but he's got to be better than Green. As to the system, that's a real none issue. While Green knows the system, the terminology is probably different than what Green used in the past. As to Carr learning the system, it's not like he'd be learning an entirely new offensive scheme.

At any rate, no matter what we probably won't know about CPep until after the season starts as to whether his knee will be healthy enough. What that means is that Cam and co. will have to make some kind of move involving either a Green-type washed up guy or Carr. Even if we acquire one of those guys, I wouldn't be shocked if they still went after a guy in the draft. Certainly, beyond the shadow of a doubt, if Quinn or even Russell happen to fall to #9 they'd jump on it like flys on poop....but that's not a real revelation, just common sense.

The bottom line is that it's simple conjecture on anyone's part who says that we will be dumping CPEp. You don't spend what we did on him and just dump him, unless RM can work out some sort of trade, which is doubtful since CPep just hasn't been able to show anyone that he's healed yet...

If we must trade a pick, I prefer trade a pick for a young player than a 1 year stopgap than for an older player 1 concussion away from retirement (imagine if green is hurt in first game of the season, we will have jettisoned a pick for nothing) carr in the same case would be here the next year and we could trade culp.

But anyways I want draft a QB in all case to battle with cleo.

Because Carr is a bum.

hAVE YOU SEEN his savings account? If you're gonna rip Carr you might as well rip Ronnie. Same situation sort of. Carr ain't no bum and he's a pretty good QB under his circumstances. I don't the texans trade him. Who do they have to take over? Sage? Let's get real.

Green isn't as bad as everyone is making him out to be. Green has been one of the most consistent QBs for the last 3-5 years. Think about it, run Ronnie and let Trent Green use the playfakes.
