Last nights game was so one sided it wasn't even funny. This guy tore it up on the field and made great decisions when they counted the most. I would expect Troy Smith to have a good game but he was owned by the defense. Kind of reminded me of Daunte when he was running for his life behind the line.:sidelol:

I think Chris leak had a great game and if he is available, I would not mind picking him up. We cannot wait on damaged goods and put another season in the air.

I don't think WR is our 1st priority, just look @ what Brady made out of so-so WR's.

I also like the safety who wears #1, I cannot remember the name right now, I think he is a junior.

The Gators D is full of talent and whoever enters the draft from there, I would not mind picking up in the 2nd or 3rd round. Maybe a LB or a DE in the 3rd round would be awesome. Just look @ how Channing turned out.

Any thoughts on Leak?

Any thoughts on Leak? Yeah that he is a career NFL backup...and 90% of the world will agree.

hes ok.. but nowhere near worth a 1st round pick... maybe a 4th or 5th

Chris Leak will NOT be a starter in the NFL. Definite career backup. His game leaves alot to be desired.

Just because he looked good last night doesn't mean he's a first rounder. The guy is a late round pick at best and a project in the NFL.

I don't think he's a first rounder, but I don't think it's a stretch to think that he may not a career backup. Yes he doesn't have ideal height, but his throwing motion allows him to deliver the ball very high. The guy has other leadership intangibles that can't be taught.

Wasn't Tom Brady picked in the 5th round? Would you take him if he is still there?

Highly doubt it.

From what I saw, he's a shotgun QB. I don't know how well we was under center, but it seemed like last night, the Gators ran a bunch of shotgun.

No, I dont think hes NFL starting material. He played well last night because his team gave him a great effort. Dont get me wrong hes a good qb when given time to throw, but I dont think he has the arm or the accuracy for the NFL.

If Jemarcus Russel enters the draft, we take him. No questions asked.

Maybe Troy Smith if he drops to 9 after his poor performance last night.

No Chris Leak, no Brady Quinn.

Good point on that one, but for every Tom Brady there is also a Josh Heupel. Tom Brady was a rare exception. Most QB's drafted in the later rounds don't make it.

one name cums in mind wen i think of Leak, Ken Dorsey, College great, Pro nobodi

Brady Quinn will be gone 2nd pick, Jamarcus Russel will be gone b4 we get a shot. I think Raiders will take Troy Smith. Who else might be available?

Even if he was available in the 5th or 6th, I would still pass on him. We have more pressing needs at other positions than drafting a QB that will most likely have no chance at starting in the NFL. We need more depth at other positions.
