If Dolphins make playoffs, they will have chance to defend undefeated season

I just thought about it when I was watching Porter's house this past week. We messed up by not defeating them when we played them earlier this year, however, we played both "really" well.

If they go undefeated, it was OUR FAULT. But our chance has not "completely" faded, just yet.

We actually will have a second chance to defend that UNdefeated season, by making the playoffs and if we advance, we can have that rematch against the COLTS in the AFC Championship game.

Should we revenge ourselves and advance to the Super Bowl, we'd likely meet the Saints again IN MIAMI and we'd have a chance to have that rematch and defend it then.

So basically, we didn't totally mess up, YET. We still have a chance to save that record, by making it and advancing to the SB. "THEN", if we fail in that, then we totally failed and it would have been OUR FAULT. :d-day:

But this scenario, has a REALLY NICE POTENTIAL movie like ending here.

To defend OUR undefeated season, at OUR HOUSE IN MIAMI having defeated BOTH undefeated teams BACK TO BACK iand ending it in OUR HOUSE???? WOW!!! What a SUper Bowl and what a STORY....for the whole offseason...
 
Even if this highly unlikely, almost insane asylum crazy scenario played out, it would be fun to see the lines in both. I would think the Colts would be at least a TD favorite over us in our own stadium. And then the Saints would be at least a TD as well. Would make Vegas crazy having to set the lines for these games. As for reality, lol, I would be excited with making the playoffs. And thinking about it, we will be the 6 seed. And if we won the first round game, we would then play the 1, which would be Indy. So I see this game taking place in the Divisional Round.
 
If we make the AFC Champ game and win against the undefeated Colts, then move on to the Super Bowl and beat the Saints, this would be one of the greatest seasons of NFL Football ever.

Dolphins preserve the 72 Phins, Win the Super Bowl, all while beating the only two undefeated teams, all while winning the Super Bowl at HOME...Wow....How crazy would that be?? Okay I'm asking the wife to pinch me now so I can wake up.


BTW, if this happens the world will really end in 2012
 
It would be one f*cking amazing Disney movie of a storyline to beat the colts in the AFC Championship and the Saints in the super bowl in Miami...but I'm really not getting my hopes up. Make the playoffs first, then I will. Maybe.
 
I find it really interesting that we played both currently undefeated teams, had them both nearly beaten, and lost.

I've always thought that it would be fitting if the next undefeated team had to get past Miami somewhere along the way. Something about those two games makes me feel like maybe, just maybe this is the year for the next unbeaten team.

It would make a good bit of trivia years from now, the fact that the Colts or Saints nearly lost to Miami along the way.
