He will have a even bigger and better season than last year. This could be his breakout year. He is a fast player who hits hard and with more practice in his coverage skills he could be a Pro Bowler.:dolphins::ninja::dolphins:

I agree. Yeremiah Bell, Channing Crowder, Joey Porter, Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, Vonnie Holliday.... Were going to have to be a top 2 or 3 D... If our offense has even a meidocre season, watch out...

dont forget J Allen, hits just as hard if not harder then bell and 324 times faster.

If we draft Landry, and don't trade Hill, then Bell won't start. But I think those are mutually exclusive events so I do in fact expect Bell to start. I love Bell, but he has some things to work out. His coverage abilities need improvement and making breaks on the ball as well. He needs more experiance in zone coverages and finding a man. Other than that, he is very physical and has quite a bit of talent. I expect a big year out of Bell myself. And you're right Brandon, we will have one of the best 3 defenses in football.

Well let's hope we dont lose our minds and draft Landry. It's fun to watch Bell start. He has weaknesses that he needs to improve, but he has some rare playmaking talent. In an improved secondary that allows him some freedom he could be an absolute monster.

Bell will show improvement this year, I'm almost sure of it. He has the potential to be a real playmaker in this D!!

Drafting Landry wouldn't be insane at all man. It's about 90% certainty that he's going to be the best player available at #9 and he would fill one of our few holes on defense. Michael Smith already said he is a lock for defensive rookie of the year, I don't believe we can afford to pass on him if he's there. Draft Landy and move Jason Allen to corner and watch our defense just kill people this year.

our safeties are good for now, if we trade back we can get a cornerback then o lineman or stanton or wahtever

Doesn't he ONLY play special teams????

He played a HUGE role in that upset win in Chicago recording an interception and a pass defensed. He came in on passing downs in the quarter package in the second half of the season. He should be starting next year at safety or corner.

I didn't forget about Allen but I don't remember him hitting anyone; soft, hard, faster. What are you referring to?
Yeremiah started out like a house on fire making timely plays, then ended this season like Yeremiah was a bullfrog. He got toasted quite a bit at the end.

Jason Allen had that hit that took Ben Watson out of the game against NE.

IMHO, if Jason Allen and Yeremiah Bell starts next season, we'd have one of the most rangiest safety duo in the league. Now if we could find a #1 corner (Since we already have three #2's in W.Allen, Daniels, and Goodman), we'd be good to go.

I'm not so sure Jason Allen is a good fit at CB in the NFL. He's more of a free safety. We need a top cover CB as far as the secondary goes. Darrelle Revis would be my choice. He's a playmaker with good size to go with 4.4 speed. He's also a dangerous punt returner.
