Feel free to support your vote, or even toss in your top 3. Feel free to do some research before jumping the gun too, just because so and so comes from a bad team doesn't mean he's the one responsible. At the same time this is likely where our views mean the least (even less than usual!!) because we aren't in the meetings, we don't know who's pulling for who.

Personally my top 2 are probably Xanders and Licht.

Poll's up, let me know if I missed anyone!

I like both Xander and Farmer but Ray is pro personal so I choose Xander!

I really want Xander, but the Farmer love, I just don't get. I think Licht is more capable and would be my 2nd choice. Farmer is really a pro personnel guy and the free agent signings during his time at KC is lackluster.

I'd rank them:
1a. Xander
1b. Licht
3. Dawson
4. Farmer
5. Gaine
6. Kahn

I'd be happy with any of the first 3, I'd be dissapointed with Farmer but not heartbroken. The last 2 would really piss me off.

I vote for one of the best talent evaluators, Dennis Green! He was a ****ty coach but the way he built Minny and Arizona. Too bad they are who we thought they were!

LMFAO

Xander, just due to all the talent he drafted. Von Miller, Demaryius Thomas, Knowshown Moreno, and Zane Beatles. All Pro Bowlers. His draft classes ranked 1st in the NFL on playing time, and all we hear about Ireland is the lack of production his drafts receive. Well this Xanders dude is #1 in that category. Doesn't get better than that in his time span. He also pulled in these dudes in free agency while with Denver:

QB Peyton Manning (FA, 2012), SS Brian Dawkins (UFA, 2009–11), WR Brandon Lloyd (FA, 2009–11), RB Willis McGahee (FA, 2011), CB Champ Bailey (re-signed, 2011), DE Elvis Dumervil (re-signed, 2010), WR Brandon Marshall (re-signed, 2010), and OT Ryan Clady (1st round, 2008).

Here's one question I have though, why did he step down as Denver's GM, and downgrade at the position to Detroit?

Only one of these guys actually has a real body of work as an NFL General Manager under his belt. He did a pretty good job.

(That's Brian Xanders)

I like Xanders, but his 2009 draft was horrifyingly awful. Just terrible in every single regard. They spent 3 first round picks and walked out of that draft with Knowshon Moreno, who has only had some minor success after Manning got there and began audibling at the line every time the defense spread itself out.

For the record: he stepped down in Denver due to an agreement he made with the organization. One way or another, Bowlen was going to give Elway power over the organization. Xanders agreed to stay on and show him the ropes for a year before being allowed to explore other job openings. There was no bad blood from my understanding(unlike other GM's as they exit their franchises ).

Brian Xanders is out as general manager of the Denver Broncos after three years in that role.

Broncos boss John Elway said the decision to part ways with a year left on Xanders' contract was made in a meeting between the two men Monday.

Xanders, 41, aspires to have final say on personnel matters after nearly two decades in the NFL, but that wasn't going to happen in Denver, where Elway is in his second season in charge.

Anyways, i still like Tom Gamble, although that didnt work out. Voted Jason Licht because i consider him an intriguing candidate. Xanders would be my 3rd choice. Wasnt Marc Ross interviewed as well? I wouldnt have voted for him, but others might.
