If Fins draft a WR in the 1st 2 rounds or sign a big money guy like Brandon Marshall or Vincent Jackson in the offseason, whos gone?

Bess isnt going anywhere. he comes cheap and is the 2nd best receiver on 3rd down. Hes clutch and will only get better.

Hartline was just drafted and possibly has the most upside out of our recievers. Is he a deep threat? Is he being built as Camarillo 2.0? I'm liking this sleeper pick. He's safe.

Camarillo just signed an extension and his work ethic and heart is something this team needs. Hes one of my favorite guys and is also clutch on 3rd down. I assume hes safe?

Now comes the hard part...

Ted Ginn.. I'm gonna say hes safe next year. He will be our special teams guy. Kick returner and hopefully punt returner. He's a poor mans Josh Cribbs. Awesome kick returner who cant seem to make enough plays as a reciever.

Patrick Turner.. Could he be a one and done? As long as we're in the playoff hunt, hes not touching the field so I have no idea what we have in this guy but word is, he cant get separation and he has bad hands.. He looks good in preseason from what I remember but as a #4 or #5 receiver on a team, you gotta be able to contribute on special teams and he cant so I'm gonna say gets demoted to the practice squad next year.

So this years weakness could possibly be a nice strength next year...

#1- Brandon Marshall, Vincent Jackson, Arrelious Benn (Sp?), Brandon Lafell
#2- Greg Camarillo/Brian Hartline (its gonna be a nice battle)
#3- Davone Bess (hes a top 10 slot reciever in the league and with more talent next year, he'll only get better)
#4-Brian Hartline/Greg Camarillo (loser of the battle falls here)
#5-Ted Ginn- special teams guy

Brandon Marshall is a great talent and could help this team but he's a gutterball and will be viewed as too high of a risk for Bill Parcells. I think Vincent Jackson is the more likely option.

And Brandon Lafell isn't going to become a true #1. I like Lafell a lot but I don't like him as a #1 option.

Brandon marshall and Vincent Jackson both will be franchised tagged...we have a shot at landing a guy like Antonio Bryant however...

As for who's on the outside lookin in? Who knows.

honestly I think Ginn and possibly Turner could be gone in the offseason. I see maybe the FO trying and successfully signing Antonio Bryant in FA.

Somehow someway I think Ireland may work his magic and we end up with an additional pick in Rounds 2 and/or 3 via trades.

With that being said I think Gilyard can be drafted by us and used as a ST ace in the KR/PR aspect. I'm not saying that Gilyard is an immediate starter in his rookie season but aww hell never mind.

I thought all the rave was about how well Turner caught the football.

Giving up on a player after 1 year is retarded IMO. Who wants to cut a guy that has been given an opportunity only to see him go flourish elsewhere?

There are plenty of WRs that take more then a year to develop. Manningham wasn't **** in his first season, neither was Roddy White, Vincent Jackson or any of the real prolific WRs in this league.

I think if a WR goes it's going to be Teddy or Camarillo and they will be moved for a draft pick. I just don't see us giving up on a player after one season.

As much as we all love to bash Ted Ginn, his presence on kickoffs is enough to scare special teams coordinators and he gives us some nice field position. I dont see anyone who can take his spot as the returner. Cobbs and Bess are terrible at return duties. And Camarillo just got an extention and just had 7 catches for 110 yards against the Jags. Lets not forget about his key 4th down catch against the Pats. Coaches love this guy. hes not goin anywhere IMO.

Camarillo. I love the guy, but he we have his younger...injury free clone with Hartline. We basically have three possession receivers in Bess, Hartline and Camarillo. I think Cam is odd man out just because of his speed...which he doesn't have any...but he has fantastic hands. I think we could get a 4th or 5th for him easily.

I say we keep Ginn for special teams and Turner for development. We will no doubt keep the first 3 mentioned (Bess, Camarillo, and Hartline). Get Boldin for our 1st and 4th and keep 6 WR's on the roster.

As much as I'd like for it not to happen, probably Cam if they can get a pick for him. He has great hands but his athletic upside is unfortunately limited compared to Bess and Hartline (and Turner if the light ever goes on).

Ginn won't be dealt unless we are offered picks that exceed his value as a returner (e.g. 3rd).

Basically, either Cam or Ginn are gone. Ginn still has athletic upside that could be realized with a better receiver opposite him, which is why I think it's more likely Cam goes. I really really hate that as he's one of my favorite Fins, but that's what it looks like to me.

I'd go postal if that happened. Boldin is one helluva WR however I don't think he's worth giving up our 1st rounder. I'm all for getting a playmaking WR like I'm sure you are but "selling the farm" (trading away our 1st) is not the way to go.

Ginn.

I could see a team like the Ravens or Texans burning a 4th rounder on him. The league is fascinated by kick return threats, and Ginn could still be a salvageable number 2 on some teams. Troy Williamson was a former top 10 pick and speedster with problems catching the ball, and he went for a 6th to jacksonville. He didn't have the special teams threat that Ginn does.

Hartline seems to me to be Camarillo 2.0, save for faster. Hartline has the potential to be a darn good number 2 receiver. Bess is clutch and excels at the slot position. And Camarillo did just sign the extension, and is to sticky fingered to let go(how many 3rd and 4th downs has he converted in the 4th quarter this year?), my guess is we will let him rotate in and when his contract is done(believe 2 more years) he will be allowed to walk. Turner will continue to be groomed, but a wideout could drop onto our laps during the draft, so Turner will be used as a redzone threat and future rotational player.

If Ginn is on this team next year I will be shocked. Ginn is not a great team player, he is not tough enough to be a TS/Parcells guy, and he is boom or bust on returns. The front office can not afford a returner who consistantly can't get the ball to the 20. Every time the ball goes into the endzone I am yelling for him to take a knee instead of jogging out to the ten and getting his head knocked off.

If we can find a team that will give us a half eaten snickers bar, a wooden nickle, and or a used diaper, I say we send him packing. Matter of fact I would throw in a 7th round pick just to have him off the team.

As for trade partners, there is only one, the raiders. Al Davis will take anyone with speed.

Before anyone can think about signing B.m or VJ could you please ask yourself why a team would let a #1 wr go for nothing. What benefit is there for Denver or SD to just let these guys that every other team in the league dreams about having go for nothing.

Is it a case of having to much talent in 1 position? Denver - Stokes, Royal, Gaffney and Loyd - so that would be a ressounding no!! SD - Davis, Naanee, Osgood - that's looking like another no!!!

So why, please someone who thinks we can sign one of these guys tell me why these two teams would just let two of the best young WR's in the league go for nothing!
