If FO is negotiating with Smith, why didn't we just keep Henne?

I can agree with most of that, but shouldn't you mean bill parcel's loves blowing second round picks on QBs? henne was drafted when parcels was clearly in charge of the draft.

while over the years the dolphins organization has blown 2nd round picks on QBs (see: aj feelme, daunte suckpepper, puke white, bad henne), what does that have to do with jeff ireland? he had one draft, last year, and had no second round pick. he did trade back into the second round to draft daniel thomas, but please, let's not confuse ourselves with the facts when we're dumping on the front office.
