I know u r thinking i am crazy..but lets say the Miami Draft Board is something like this:

1.- Calvin Johnson - Blue Chip
2.- Joe Thomas - Blue Chip
3.- Brady Quinn - Blue Chip
4.- J. Russell - Blue Chip
5.- G. Adams - Blue Chip
6.- A. Peterson - Blue Chip
7.- L. Landry - Blue Chip

8.- A. Okoye.- First Round Talent
9.- Levi Brown - FRT
10.- Ted Ginn Jr (Late First Round Talent)
etc

If the board is something like that im pretty sure Muller will not hesitate to take Adrian Peterson at #9 if he is there and the other players AT SAME LEVEL are taked.

U need to remember one of the TRADEMARK Draft decisions of Randy Muller was take Deuce McAllister on first round when he already had Ricky Williams on his team....i dont care if we have Ronnie Brown AND Ricky Williams, if Adrian Peterson is there and there is a DROP of talent with other players available, Muller will take PETERSON at 9.

(And he maybe could trade him on this draft to Packers or Browns, or he will keep him and give us the BEST TANDEM OF RB's of ALL TIMES for next season.... and maybe trade one of them for next draft... u never knows)

if we dont make a run at Quinn, i definately think randy will pick BPA.

Thats probably about the time we call up Buffalo and ask what they want for him because we are about to take him. then again, I hear Minny is very interested in peterson should he fall to 7.

why would we want buffalo to take AP .... i dont want him to torture us for years to come ....it seems like we talk about this every day

I agree, thats why i dont put Bills on my post.. i prefer to trade Peterson to Packers or Browns before Bills.

The financial obligations we inherited when drafting Ronnie Brown #2 Overall in the 2005 draft almost gurantee that we do not draft Adrian peterson if he falls to us. We could use the position to acquire another 1st day draft pick but Adrian Peterson won't be drafter especially if Laron andry, Levi Brown, Amobi Okoye and especially Brady Quinn are available.

David- Te Mitchell was comparing him to Deuce Mcallister on tht Coundown to Draft show the had on VS. channel. Mueller is gonna draft BPA if Quinn is not aquired, he drafted Mcallister when he had Ricky and look how that ended up to first round picks. Im not for trading Ronnie, but if Peterson is there you must take him. The kid would help this team alot, the only question then is behind the line he will run.

Im pretty sure the financial obligations of Saints with Ricky were big and they taked McAllistet on first round anyway, but McAllister was not a Top Ten then maybe u rigth... anyway i think Muller will take BPA..if Dolphins has ranked Landry, Okoye and Brown SIMILAR to Peterson....i agree with u they will take any of them, the important question is HOW THEY R RANKED ON PHINS BOARD......if BROWN is ranked at same level than Peterson that woulb be great because is a position we need badly.

If he is there we will trade the pick to GB.

#9 - 1350

for

#16 - 1000
#47 - 430

we shouldnt get peterson even if he is there, trade our pick for other picks and let another team get him

Peterson is a beast.
But we have Ronnie and hopefully Ricky we dont need him
But if we do that talent over need thing then it is him
I am sure that Green Bay would love to have him
We could talk to them about them trading up
We win more than once
1 We still have a good place in the draft
2 We get an extra 2nd round pick
3 We keep Peterson out of our Division (Bills)
4 We could take either
Brandon Meriweather
Reggie Nelson
Greg Olsen
Lean Hall
Tedd Ginn JR
Chris Houston
Aaron Ross
Lawrence Timmons
Dwayne Jarret
Jon Benson
Paul Posluszny
Dwaye Bowe
Darrelle Revis
Ben Grubbs
Justin Blalock
Perfect spot none of these guy would be to early at Number 16

I don't know about trading him to Buffalo... I'd have serious doubts about the front office if they traded a player like Peterson to a division rival.

However, I totally agree that it's very, very unlikely Peterson falls past Minnesota. Oakland, Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, and even Atlanta (Dunn is getting a little long in the tooth!) would all love to have a RB like him... and I have a feeling that one, maybe even two of the "big three" will trade down into the mid-to-late top 10, where he'd be a prime pick with Johnson, Thomas, Quinn, and Russell off the board.

i think we should cut ricky and draft a.d peterson or trade ronnie for more draft picks.
hell i just want to get playmakers at our skill positions and we can always bring in vet olinemen. i say lets keep ricky ronnie and draft peterson and move peterson to punt returns and cut vick .
