If I am head coach for the Dolphins this is what I do.

First off, I would put Davone Bess as our #1 WR. Second I would let Hartline, Camarillo and Ginn fight it out for #2. Move Ginn back to returning kicks. I bench Gibril Wilson for a game and put Tyrone Culver back there so that Gibril knows he is expendable, that might light a fire under his tail and get him going. I dont bench Pennington. I let him play the year out, but I do resign him at the end of the season, and shop him around in the offseason, so we can get something for him, rather than just letting him go. Even if noone bites, I keep him on the team next year to serve as a mentour for our new starting QB Ched Henne. Also, I would lex Lex Hilliard carry the rock 3-5 times a game. What do you think about that?

This is exactly why I'm glad you are not the head coach of the Dolphins.

You want to bench a receiver who had 11 catches, seven for first downs, because he didn't make the game winning reception at the end of the game?

Lex Hilliard has not earned the right to carry the ball 3-5 times a game. Ricky and Ronnie don't get enough carries and you want to take even more carries away from them?

This kind of overreaction is the one things coaches cannot afford to do.

Big deal, he made 11 catches that any one of our other 4-5 receivers could have made. But he didn't make the catches that would have set him apart. That tells me that there is nothing special about him.

How am I benching all our starters? Not benching Ginn, letting him battle for the number 2 spot. And yes I am benching Wilson because obviously forgot how to tackle, and cant cover a pop warner WR. Read the thread.

the things that are obvious...camrillo isn't getting seperation....crowder is garbage, akin is, as slow as crowder, pennington has a weak azz arm . ginn is still very un-polished as a reciver. g wilson can't tackle anyone ! and jake long gets pushed to the ground by smaller defenders ! and joey thomas had an interception hit him in the face mask...that was funny !

I saw Ginn open when he didn't get a ball also. Ginn may not be great but he is better than the rest of our WRs.

bess should not be the no.1 he would lose all the ability he has to chad p if he was which is catching the underneath stuff.

making ginn battle for the no.2 loses our only deep threat we have on our team to even slightly spread the d and respect us.

ginn did not play that bad! he caught 11 balls a lot of them where key 3rd down balls

he dropped a tough td catch get over it.... if there is anyone we should be benching its cam he seems really slow and cant create.

i agree i think the the coach should sit down and talk to wilson and making going through some fundamentals in practice this week but dont bench him.
