If ireland asked manning to throw, he was just doing his job

Your response is ridiculous. You dont know peyton and this is a business. His supposed top choice got him to throw.

you mean the reports he threw the ball in a park to his best bud brandon stokely...i don't call that throwin a route tree for anyone...supposedly and again who knows if its true given all the garbage that these twitter clowns post every second of the day manning has provided zona and denver and probably us with plenty of video of him spinning it in workouts and looking good doin it

Its throwing a football not putting the guy through an entire combine...... Ireland "Hey Peyton lets play some catch i brought a football" Manning "Im saving myself for someone special" lol

I hope you are not referring to Dez Bryant to call Ireland a douchebag??? Turns out Ireland was right about Bryant..

His saggy pants mall incident, his feud with Deon Sanders and most recently an incident in a Miami nightclub with Lil Wayne's crew...

yeah cause little waynes a poster child for good behavior...

Andrew Luck and RGIII didn't throw the combine better not draft them

They did not get him to throw! He threw in a park to Stokely and no one from the Bronco's was present. Peyton Manning is probably the highest character most honest man in the NFL, he has said several times he would not play if he couldn't play at a high level. Last year Irsay wanted to give Manning a 5yr 100+ million dollar extension, it was Peyton that said he i just had surgery let's get me healthy and go from there. If Peyton was about the money he would have signed that deal. Not enough? ESPN Radio had a business analyst break down Mannings earnings,$170+ million in earnings from the Colts, and two to three times that in endorsements. So with that said when Peyton says it isn't about the money yeah I believe hi! He wants a team that is ready too compete with a good fo.

Man,you have a serious man crush. You have to admit it does appear he is less than emamored with the phins, how can you change that now.. I want him too,but i want him healthy. I still stand by what i said that this is a business.

It is not a man crush I pointed out i have done more then follow a couple each jobs on twitter for my opinion. Manning granted one interview when he left his colts presserit was with a local station they ask him where he wants to play and Miami was the only team he mentioned. To my knowledge he has never said any other team, it is the media slinging **** at the wall so when one sticks they can jump up and down saying me first. Right now Peyton and his inner circle no which way he is.leaning and no one else. He isn't doing courtesy visits that's for sure! Maybe his west coast trip didn't impress him.

Did they have 4 neck surgeries in the last 18 months and sit out last season too?

Do they have 4 NFL MVPs, Superbowl MVP, ten straight ten win seasons. After all this board had already said the bust rate on qbs in the first is to high.

Be honest: Do you really not see the differences between their situation and Manning's?

They have more to prove and no I dont think throwing at the combine would have hurt their dradt status.

Anyway where is the proof Ireland ask him that.

Forget Joe Theisman and the likes of Bo Jackson and Gayle Sayers, try to tell ourr own beloved 5 or 6X pro bowler Dwight Stephenson that "what you did for someone else yesterday counts for what you can do for me tomorrow." :idk:.

Assuming you're a terrific pilot, if you had an eye operation, or 2, or 3... and were on the shelf for a year, would your employer, or even better, a new one put you in a coque (for filter sake) pit with passengers on faith?

You suggested that teams shouldn't draft Luck or RG because they didn't throw at the combine as a way of pointing out how absurd it would be for teams to ask Manning to throw before offering him a contract. The situations are completely different. Yes, they each have something to prove, but you can be sure that if Luck or RG had just gone through a series of neck surguries that teams would want to see them throw before selecting them in the first round and paying them millions.

I would hope that Ireland does his job and is damn sure that Manning's health is not an issue before offering a contract. If he needs to ask Manning to throw before he's sure, then I hope he asks.
