If we draft tannehill at 8, what will we do for the wideout problem? Pass rush? OT? we simply have too many holes and we need more picks.

If they truly believe in tannehill then we should accept a sacrifice of the 2012 season for future potential success.

If they truely believe he's their guy then get him. We'll still have four more picks in the first four rounds.
Many have mentioned the number of solid WC recievers available in the middle rounds.
The Pats always target the middle rounds and usually have multible picks there so i think we'll be ok.
If he's not the guy get a pass rusher or trade down.

7-9
7-9
6-10

I feel like he could mortgage our future to move up to save his job.

He is under tremenous pressure to make sure this season doesn't get wasted...

He can't do another 6-10 season or his job is on the line and probably will get fired....

Trading up is more likely...Even though I'm against it as at the 8th pick, there are still studs available.

I think we should as well. I just don't see Tannehill at 8 which makes trading back such a great option for us this year. I say f*** it and let Moore & Garrard manage and build the team around them on O and D and then we're ready for a legitimate successor next year. Maybe through some stoke of luck we could get Barkley, hell with a team already built trading a ridiculous amount doesn't seem so bad. There are other QBs next year much more promising imo than what is available now

Once they traded BMarsh I figured it's a given that we would trade down.

I mean this draft is so deep with athletic wideouts in the 2-3rds range, it would be stupid to pass up the opportunity to snag a few of'em. :ponder:

You wouldn't draft Gronkowski or Graham at 8? I would. A reach is Tannehill at 8. Fleener is not a reach.

Honestly, you can't compare him to established NFL players just yet, though. I would say he is a safe 2nd rd pick.

I will agree with you and say Tannehill @8 is what Quinn was like @9. Total reach. Please football gawds don't let that happen.

Im not a fan of the trade down because I always see it as we are losing value with moves like that. And I'm not confident with the guys picking or guys prior. it's almost as if they feel like if we trade down and we get extra pics we are pretty much giving our selfs more room for error. For once I want them to want a guy and go and get him no matter where he is. Like they did with Thomas but we r yet to see the benefits there. if they really like tannehill pick him at 8

If you're worried about their picks as bad as I am then I would hope they have more room for error, eh lol :d-day:
