If it's Bowles, what was the point of firing Sporano?

Seriously, if they hire this guy it's going to make me cry. I haven't cried about sports in a long time, well not since the 0-7 start anyways. Didn't this franchise learn with Wannstasche that crap like this will ruin us. Dave basically ran this franchise into the ground and now we're going to do it again? I'm getting really effing nervous. . .
 
Why fire Sparano? Well, there are a number of reason why we did that, the main one being that he sucks.
 
Hiring Bowles over the candidates who are available would be a joke. He hasn't even done his job well. We would be in for more of the same old crap as we have had with this regime. Clean it out !!!
 
why do you assume its Bowles? Cus you listen to knee jerk jerkers all day long over reality?
 
I'm not impressed with McCoy either. I'm not sure I can even begin to understand what they are doing. Zimmer even backs out of a possibility to be the HC. Why, and even he is average. There are no great candidates left but we are giving 2nd interviews to the bottom of the barrel.
 
I guess Philbin seems like the best of the lot left, oh well. . . I was so pumped about getting a new coach and now, well it's getting depressing. I hope the Dolphins realize how many empty seats are looming on the horizon, the Dolphins are in serious jeapordy of entering the "Jaguars" zone. I was hoping for an improved team after the bitter disapointment of 2010 when they folded at the end of the year with gutless football. Then, they start 0-7 this year so I basically watched the rest of the season hoping they would lose. ( for Luck) They even screwed that over! They've been one of the worst franchises to follow for the last 10 years. Gutless, uninspired football and boring to boot. (At least we scored more this year)

Hey , I'm a Dolphin fan to the bitter end, but will I ever see another team I can be proud of and dream of a SB in my lifetime? How long will it take? This is a very important year for the Dolphins, if we screw the pooch, expect blackouts and irrelevancy for some time to come.

Based on what?

I don't understand why so many ppl are in love with Bowles. For half the year his DB's couldn't cover anyone.
 
I wasn't aware they held these interviews in an open to the public forum. Must have had them at Joe Robbie to accommodate seating for all the fans :rolleyes2:
 
bowles is a viable HC candidate. that does not mean he gets this job, but all the idiots who dismissed his interview as "rooney rule fulfilled" are typical sheep. the guy has some potential and deserves a real shot. im glad he is getting a second interview, and if we go with philbin or mccoy i hope he stays on as DC.
 
Just calm down guys. I know its frustrating, but I feel good about this next season.
