If Manning doesn't sign with us by 4 today, I don't think he's coming...

If Manning doesn't sign with us by 4 today, it's likely over...

I could be wrong about this, but Manning must realize that we can't risk everything waiting on him, and at 4pm we might move to Plan B, if that means signing Flynn...

Unfortunately we're the only team in the running that might have this type of deadline.
 
Not true at all. What if Flynn doesnt sign? The smart move for Flynn would be to wait until Manning signs. Then he will have the desperate teams who actually need a qb, like Cleveland, Seattle or Miami DESPERATE to sign him. The idea here is that after losing out on Manning they will over pay to make sure they dont lose Flynn as well...
 
I don't even think the Dolphins have Flynn on their radar. Matt will get offers from Browns and like 3 other teams and he will sign ASAP, he's not going to wait and see if his old coach wants him and I don't think you give a career backup 60 million. So let him walk.. I rather sign Henne again than get Flynn.
 
Truly there is no rush, Flynn is going to take his time and be wined and dined by several teams before making a decision.

There isn't a rush or deadline. Flynn won't sign immediately unless another team offers him a huge contract.

What I'm saying is that Manning (probably) has no idea what the Dolphins are going to do come 4pm, and if he waits it may be too late.

i just dont feel good about any of this. i really think matt moore will be our starter. if manning goes, and flynn signs elsewhere we really need to get tannehill. since everyone knows we need a qb the price for whatever pick we have to get just went up. I really dont want to have to give up a ton for him.
 
I hope plan C is ready aswell..............

Don't know about that Chubbs. He may get a ridiculous offer from Seattle who is crazy enough to throw a boat load of cash at him. He might not be able to turn it down. You know a bird in hand is worth two in the bush...hard to say how he'll react when it all goes down and how his agent will react too.
 
Manning prolly won't sign today. Maybe tonight if he really knows what team but I doubt he will sign today.

I do not want to be Henne in the same state as the Phinz :-(
 
Manning doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who'll make such an important decision this fast. This is a guy who does incredibly detailed due diligence when preparing for a single game. I'd expect the same from this process. I expect him to make his decision by the weekend.
