How about Blaine Gabbert as our qb. If we dont get manning not looking good for us to have a legit qb so will have to go with someone young like flynn, matt moore another year or possibly gabbert, or tannehill
 
Um how do you propose we get Gabbert? Trade for him? Hell no. If we signed him (cheaply) to compete with Moore, sure

Flynn for me, thank you. If he is as good as he looked in those two starts, he could be our answer for years and years with his age.
 
I don't see this happening from any of the angles. IF Peyton goes to Denver, I really don't think they trade Tebow. The backlash would be fierce, but, moreso, Peyton only has 2-4 years left IMO, IF he's completely 100% healthy. So, if he's not healthy, or, only has a short time left, Denver is going to need someone behind him ready to step in. Also, Gabbart didn't do horrible as a Rookie last year and I doubt Jacksonville is ready to give up on him and give up what it would take to get Tebow from Denver.
 
gabbert will be out of the league in 2 years...absolutely dreadful...scared to death of contact...horrid idea...awful...pathetic...disgusting even

that kid is pure garbage...
 
wow, just when you think you have seen it all on finheaven, here it is.

let me tell you how i feel about gabbert.

someone like me who is really opposed to flynn and does not really like him much, well compared to gabbert, i will go to the airport and personally pick flynn up to be our qb if that were the case. gabbert ****ing blows.

heck, even the people who dont like moore would prob be able to admit that he is awesome compared to gabbert.

i think gabbert will prob be the worst starting qb in the nfl next year. no thank you.

and although gabbert does not exactly have the best weapons in jacksonville, its not the stats only that blow, its watching him mechanically, his pocket presence, his inaccuracy, he just blows.

I would be scared of him having just two starts, and GB has a better receiving core than Miami. I think the Browns are going to go all out for Flynn. What is the Browns cap number?
 
i'd be turning in my jax fancard if i had to watch that skirt play every week...i've never seen a guy at the nfl level so deathly afraid of contact...that guy just makes me want to punch stuff when i watch him play
 
Jacksonville getting Tebow will only be about filling the stands, not winning. Gabbart needs a line & receivers around him, something he didn't have at all his rookie year. I can't think of a team that had a worse supporting cast.

That said, I would not trade for him, though he could probably be had for a 4th or 5th rounder, the same the Broncos would probably ask for Tebow.
 
Even if we could get Gabbert, which we can't, why on earth would we? Did you see him play last year? He flat out blows, and no amount of "grooming" will change that.
