This would be fixing the LINES on both sides. Jason Brown would solidify the OL and Haynesworth the DL. If they choose to go Peppers, then that would be solidifying the pass rush, which was a problem that they have been quoted as stating they needed to add to.

So I would spend the money on of course re-signing Carey, Bell, and Hill. Then franchise tag Channing Crowder. If Goodman wants too much, let him walk and just draft a CB in the first day.

But that would be my two FA pickups: Jason Brown and either Albert Hayneworth or Julius Peppers. Spend the money on quality, not quantity.

Quanitity was for last year....which is the first year of a rebuild. The second year, you don't have as much holes. You can focus more on quality in FA and then fill the other holes in the draft. :hitit:

I would be happy with Brown and could see them signing him if they decide to spend some big money.

I think I would rather go after Bart Scott if there was going to be an additional big signing. I would be surprised if they signed 2 of the players mentioned, pleasantly I might add, but I am skeptical of it.

if anyone is getting paid its going to be Aso if he hits the market over both those guys.

Haynesworth hasn't played a full season since his rookie year, and will probably go to a 4-3 scheme. Peppers turned down an offer from Carolina to be one of the highest paid defensive players in the league, so he obviously wants more. I don't see our office offering him 10mil a year. No to both of them.

brown and thats it. except dansby if available. if we pulled brown and thats it besides depth picks, id be a happy dolfan.

it will be brown and scott with big money and guys like burnnet, bodden, and butler with smaller ones

Resign Yeremiah Bell, Vernon Carey, and Andre Goodman, then sign Julius Peppers and Bart Scott, and draft a offensive line man, a defensive back, and a wide receiver in the draft.

Haynesworth doesn't fit the 3-4...why would we want to get him? You know he's going to want to be the highest paid DT in the league. I don't give a damn who he is, the only DT I'd give that much money to would be Vince Wilfork or Haloti Ngata.

Peppers franchise tag would be 17 mil so why would we want to trade for him and pay him like an elite QB but only plays well one then takes a year off then plays well again come contract year. No thanks.

yeah liked peppers coming out of college but no thanks, plus i would go after brown, scott, and go after a second tier wr if any, if u can't land boldin

Brown yes, Haynesworth is a hump, that is like throwing money down the drain. Peppers ain't gonna happen and I don't want it to.
