It needs to be Cody Latimer. Ideal #2 receiver in the WCO. Miami desperatley needs a big bodied wide receiver who can play "above the rim" and win 50/50s throws consistently. Has a basketball background and it shows in his play. Outstanding hands catcher. This is the redzone threat/ possesion receiver Miami needs. More than a willing blocker and even covered kicks had a tackle and a fumble recovery vs. Penn State.

If we go WR in a draft in which the position with the greatest late round depth is WR, it better be for a guy that fell, like Mike Evans.

I think going WR in rd 1 is not a bad idea but I think it has to be Martavis Bryant. The guy reminds everyone of randy Moss without the baggage. I mean 6 4" with speed otherwise a ASJ or better yet finish the job on OL by drafting Morgan Moses. There are just to many WRs in this draft like no other so don't waste a top pick on one early, unless the right guy is there.

Evans won't go later than the 10th pick....he's tall with great hands. I like Latimer, but I like Brandin Cooks even more, even if he is just 5'10". Cooks can be our next Mark Duper.

I've been advocating Zack Martin in the first. But if they take a WR Lee would be a bad fit. He's Mike Wallace 2.0 but better after the catch. I love Cooks but he is just a slot receiver.

Roman why the thumbs down?

Bryant has plenty of baggage.... doesn't have good hands either

Hartline is 6'2, Wallace is 6'0, but they both play like they're 5'8. Haven't seen either one of them win a 50/50 ball. Latimer would give Miami the big bodied possession receiver they need so bad. Gruden made a great point against the Saints this year. None of the WRs block ANYONE. Like not a soul. A big part of 20+ yard runs is blocking on the perimeter. I'm not saying you take a receiver in the first round just for blocking, but Hartline and Wallace are downright pitiful in that department. Latimer is the ideal Z in the West Coast Offense. He would be a very good #2 receiver for the next 10 years.

Sorry I hit the thumbs down by mistake on my cell phone....it's hard typing on it. I like Latimer by the way!!!

Haha no worries. And I'm as big of a Brandin Cooks fan as there is. I just don't think he is a great fit for Miami. The sad part is he plays bigger than every receiver on Miami's roster.

I just love Latimer's ability to high point the football, the fluidness in and out of breaks (usually the biggest negative for big receivers) and the nastiness in the run game. He really gets after corners. Also has the size/speed to be a factor on deep balls as well.

Latimer in the first or Moncrief / Bryant in the 2nd? I'd lean towards the latter but I'll be honest and say I've seen little of Latimer yet. Will watch some IU games and a get better idea

My favorite thing about him is his work ethic.. Led all WR's with 23 bench reps at 225.. To put that in perspective, that's two more than Clowney despite weighing 50lbs less

Is that his work ethic or he is really strong in his chest? This kid should be a Day 3 guy.

The recent WR visits to Davie were IMO were a smoke screen. Look at many "experts" think the phins are leaning that way.

If it spooks the niners up to move up and get Miami more picks all the better. 30 is much better spot to to get Moses, Su'a-Filo, or ASJ if New England doesn't

p.s. A WR from Indiana? really? Its like getting fresh seafood here in Utah.

225 is not about absolute strength, but muscle endurance. Shows who put in the time in the weight room to build muscle endurance. He only started playing football his junior year of high school and was a basketball player.

Please, enlighten me on why you believe he should be a day 3 prospect. Everyone I've talked to around the league LOVES this kid. 23 teams just went to his workout in Indy yesterday. He's not getting past San Fran at 30.
