If Miami Loses to Denver... Will it be a "Loss to Ravens" repeat on this board??

Seriously? Can we watch the game first?

What is the point of this thread? Lets see, who do we think is at fault for losing a game that has not even been played yet?

If we lose, it will most likely be blamed on the secondary. Then the people who are weary of the new regime will blame Bill and Co. for not bringing in more talent in.

just a guess though...
 
My guess would be that everyone will say Henne for president before the game is even halfway over...if were losing.

However I think this conversation is pointless cause, first play of the game Ginns running in back for a TD, and the first snap of the next possession Penningtons goin deep connecting with Ginn for an 80 yard TD! We are gonna kick their @$$es!

NY is gonna lose and it's a tie for second in the division!!!!
 
I dont care who the scapegoat is.

But, I do want to say that if we lose to Denver the season is not over, the world isnt coming to an end.

This is gonna be a tough road game for us. A loss will give us 5 on the season and 9-7 could make it to the playoffs this year.

We need to win our home games first and foremost.

Second is to win the games we are "supposed" to win.

Dont get me wrong, I think we can beat Denver if we play like we did against SD and NE.

That in mind, if there is a reason we lose to Denver it will be because we let Cutler and Marshall have a big day on us.

If we lose we have 8 games left and can easily pull out a 6-2 record in those games, so lets not get our panties in a bunch if the game doesnt go our way.
 
Wow, it's pretty pathetic that we are now resorting to threads forecasting losses and whose to blame for said loss. How about we play the game and then deal with it after?
 
let me throw this thought out there . how about we talk about the good times and not so much about players who may or may not have a impact on the game.
 
It shouldn't be. Expectations should have been low and IMHO the Dolphins are exceeding them. This place is nuts when we lose, not even worth coming on. It kills me how making all kinds of changes is the fix most people lean towards. If this board ran the Dolphins we'd have records that would never be broken when it comes to coaching changes, QB and player changes and adds and drops. It would be ridiculous. Continuity builds winners, you will never have 22 pro bowlers fielded every Sunday and even if you did they'd never all stay healthy for years at a time. You need get to a point we're your key players no the system inside out and inserting new players in spots won't hurt. Playing merry go round with your players and coaches is the stuff that losers are made of.

I actually get the point of the thread. He's wondering if fans will freak out if we lose then scream/whine that this organization sucks....like what happens after every loss. I personally dont expect to win this game. Say what you want about Denver, I still think they are a better team than us. And we're going to their home field and they are coming off of a bye.
 
Knowing the people on this forum, my guess would be God bc thats the only person people haven't blamed yet!!!
 
Any chance the game could be played first? Just sayin....... Maybe, too you could give the posters here the chance to look at the teams performance and judge who's the scapegoat of the day, if, in fact, we lose.

Worst post of the year thusfar....And that's saying somthing.

Bills 6-2
Pats 5-3 or 6-2
Jets 4-4
Dolphins 4-4

The Pats and Bills are both 2 games ahead of us. Best case scenario is the Jets lose and we're tied for THIRD behind the Pats and Bills. If the Jets win and Pats lose there's a 3-way tie for first and we're 4th in the division.

No possible outcome puts us second in the division. Unless we can win 2 games this weekend.....:rolleyes2:
 
People will probably blame the D again.

Denver's got a pretty good Offense..but their D is shaky..so it should end up being a lot closer than the Ravens game was.

When we win and the Jets lose, we're tied at 4-4 as you say. However, both the Bills and Patriots would still be ahead of us whether they win or lose, even though we beat them both. That'd put us tied for third, but still climbing.
