John Beck BYU.............6'2'' 216
Drew Stanton MSU........6'3'' 235
Trent Edwards STAN......6'3'' 222
Troy Smith OSU............6'1'' 213
Kevin Kolb HOU..............6'3'' 220

If Quinn drops past three, then i think we will get him at #6, but if lions or the browns take him who could mami take? I am starting to like John Beck if we cant get Quinn. I have watched some highlights of him and he is good. He is very intelligent, and has a quick release. He has good timming and is a decent scrambler. He is projected a 2nd rounder. I also like Drew Stanton. Another 2nd rounder. He had great arm strength. Troy Smith has good arm strength, a great scrambler, decent accuracy, although a little short but we have seen some sucessful short QB's in the league, Brees. Trent Edwards is also looking to be a pretty good option. I am not a big fan of Kevin Kolb.

Kevin Kolb is not 6'1"....6031 218

One could see why your not a fan of Kolb...when your looking at the wrong info on him...:D

That's true Fishy, and as well, Kolb has been playing in a fast paced, quick-decision type offense where he would translate pretty good to Cam's offense. The one key about Kolb is that he would require a year or two before putting him to the wolves...he'll have to learn more about being under center than what he was used to in college...

Thats where Green comes in....to give the Dolphins time.

I looked at the wrong "Kevin" on NFL.com's QB's of the draft. But still i like stanton and beck ALOT better

Great video. I like Kolb. Noticed the words in the song said "i wont waste myself on you"

bad choice of words?

Kolb supposedly is our #3 Qb on our list. #40 or 60 could be our pick on him.

There are some good plays there but half of them are good catches by the WR (ex. hailmary to the endzone) or WR being wide open. He had some good scrambles even though he didnt look that fast. it might have been the video and i really dont know how fast he really is though

True. Its taken Alex Smith time to acclimate to being under Center.

The same can be said for not only Kolb but Rowe from NV-Reno who use a Pistol formation... its not as far back as a Shotgun formation.

Good point about the style Kolb ran @ UH and possibly being a good fit in Cam's scheme.

Boomer has said that Kolb is second on the dolphins QB list, ahead of Russell.

This is the order I would put them in:

Drew Stanton MSU : Has shown a bit of inconsistency, but look at the team he played with, he can be coached into being a very good QB with the right teachers (We have those teachers).

Trent Edwards STAN: Aside from the injury concerns, he can make any throw, and is very capable of becoming a great QB with the right team.

Kevin Kolb HOU: Does have a lot of talent, but he also was in a wide open Offense, how well will he adapt to being under center?

John Beck BYU: He is going to be a 26 year old Rookie, then add to that age a little more time for him to learn the offense....a bit of a risk, but he is a very smart and capable QB.

Troy Smith OSU: At one point, one of the names talked about in the top of this years QB class, but thanks to the Senior bowl, a bad pro day, along with his height, has dropped him pretty far down.

Main thing notice in the video O LINE IS preety good for houston, Kolb is great on the run and hes not scared to run with the ball. I like kolb a lot more now after watching this video
