With USC and Texas seemingly on a collision course to the Rose Bowl, I was pondering the biggest what if of this college football season. What if Matt Leinart doesn't score on that last play against Notre Dame? What if the refs had ruled differently on the play before? What if USC had lost to Notre Dame? The question I'm really interested in is who would be playing Texas in the Rose Bowl if USC had lost? USC still? Notre Dame? Penn State? LSU perhaps? I'm interested in what you think.
Also on a somewhat related note, if USC loses to UCLA next weekend who do you think will be going to the Rose Bowl? USC still? BCS number 3 Penn State? Or will LSU pass Penn State in the BCS ranking by winning the SEC championship game?
