If one article could sum up the Ryan Tannehill era..

I disagree, Ryan is not above average. He simply can not move in the pocket he is terrible.

Funny they mention a 1-2 year window he's had FIVE

The Bengals are in both QB purgatory and head coach purgatory.

This article can be summed up by James C. Collins quote "Good is the enemy of great."

Carson Wentz was so attractive from a trade up perspective because it looked like he had a legit chance to be great, and regardless it seemed likely you would know sharply one way or another within 2 or 3 years. That's what I posted in the Draft Forum.

Goff was the uncertainty, due to the gangly nature and subpar athletic ability. I went back and forth on him. He could be a problem for the Rams. The arm will wow on occasion but no chance Goff can ever make that fantastic slide along the line of scrimmage scramble that Wentz pulled off last week. Pocket agility was one of the questions I had about Wentz. Now that looks silly.

Carson Wentz was a total outlier from a resume perspective... a guy who couldn't get on the field for a tiny school like North Dakota State where the guy who was ahead of him -- Brock Jensen -- is in the CFL.
