If we can trade down our 1st pick we need to make a play for Stanford Keglar. Hes a beast linebacker from Purdue and is having an incredible combine. Nearly at the top at EVERY category! I believe he is in the top 3 yahoo sports has all the top combine players. He would be a huge asset with crowder and if pace isnt signed we could have a solid player in Keglar.

if the pace deal doenst work out i think the dolphins will either take chris long or trade down a few spots maybe take gholston

i think parcells wants pace because he would fit the system he is talented and that way you dont have to use the pick to sure the defense, instead you can fill another need with a jake long

im optimistic about pace signing, i dont think the tuna is gonna be dicking around waiting for the pieces to fall in place. hes putting them in place. if hes targeted pace, a couple mil guaranteed isnt going to bust the deal. especially once pace's accountant explains to him how he will make a couple million dollars savings on the tax difference.

i think pace is a central part of parcell's defensive plan. who knows though, theres so many permutations, especially now with his statement on taylor (which could be a smokescreen) its almost impossible to forecast. my current theory has us taking J. Long at #1. bill needs to get into playing cards if hes able to move down.
