If philbin gets fired, who is the interim ?

I'd like Dan Campbell to get a shot.
 
I'm with you on Dan Campbell. Lacks the experience, but if you have ever seen him in person, the guy has an energy about him that may ignite something in these guys.
 
That's the biggest reason I'm not so sure about the in season firing...the coordinators are just as bad...Rizzi is okay but i mean lol idk,
 
Has a team ever brought in an external interim? Seems like it would be incredibly difficult, but I'd almost prefer that.
 
just hope Phil takes lazor and Kevin Coyle with him
 
Totally unlikely, but could Mike Shanahan in a two week period be able have an impact? I just wonder if he kept Lazor, but took over play calling if it could be enough to turn things around. As far as what he could do defensively, I have no idea. Coyle has to go. Maybe Duffner gets promoted. Who knows. Something major just needs to happen.

I was thinking about this the other day. I'm not saying FAILBIN should stay, but I just don't see promoting one of the other coaches to interim HC as making much of a difference. AFAIK there hasn't been a situation where an outside coach was brought in at the interim level, but I might be wrong on that.
