If Rex Ryan were coach of the Dolphins, would you defend his behavior?

I know it is probably impossible to answer this unbiasedly, but I just wanted to see what the general consensus would be. I am amazed at the amount of continued support Ryan continues to get in NY when I visit NYJ messageboards.

In fact, Ryan's presence makes it easier to see the percentage of complete d-bags that make up the population of the Jets fanbase... Its about 70% douches to 30% level-headed, rational people. I feel bad for the decent Jets fan these days. Ryan's bloviating is bringing out the best, or should I say the worst, in the already pompous and obnoxious Jets fanbase. Many of them find Ryan's arrogance to be refreshing. In fact, many LOVE his unwarranted pompously loud pride. However, I truly believe in due time when his cheap talk does not bear results, these same Rex lovers will turn against him and eat from his bulbous carcass like ravenous rodents in some fetid New York sewer...

So if Rex were the Phins HC, do you think we would see the same kind of thing? I find it hard to believe that I could support such hollow bravado, but who knows, I supported Dick Saban until the very end, up until he finally ditched us a day after the disappointing 2006 season and left us with a stinking pile of crap for a team.

Have you been over on gang green lately? The seeds are planted and they are already turning on rex. The only reason they have not turned yet is that they compare Ryan to Mangini who was and is one of the worst and least inspiring coaches in the NFL. Watch those guys go crazy as soon as:

A. If we can beat the Pats and the Jets fans suddenly can't go to their security blanket of "well we are #2" or "our record is still better than the Fins even though we got swept so we are still this far from being an elite team"

B. If they go under .500. They will implode.

The big deal will be when the Jets Players start to turn on ryan. You know some of the jet players are secretly pissed at how much rex talks and how by his own actions he basically encourages his players to talk trash. Even after a loss!

Meanwhile our team starts off slow and the masses of dolphins fans did not start to turn on Sparano. Because Sparano took his licks and said he and his team needed to improve IN ORDER TO WIN GAMES. even bill belechick in defeat never, I repeat never lords over how his team should have won.

I cant believe i am saying it but the jets make the patriots look downright respectable. (if you don't include spygate)

LMAO. Which team are you watching these days? Dude has a whopping 12 tackles on the season. Before the Jets game on Sunday he ranked #135 overall in tackles. Joey Porter productive?? Maybe in practice. Channing Crowder IS our best ILB and that is just effing sad. Crowder has a staggering 22 tackles this season.

Both of them need to shut up.

Agreed, Crowder especially as he has done noting in the NFL. Porter at least has had a successful career in the NFL and at the moment he still gets away with talking ****, however based on his recent displays on the field, I'd prefer if he said noting
