IF we passed on Ronnie and took AAron Rodgers TEdford Qb, You think he would of been starting and mabey Do u guys think we passed on our QB of the future? (Which I really Do not think so) That can haunt us in the future if HE will be like a FAvre or Delhomme, BRady

No, he'd be on the bench until Gus single-handedly costs us a few games.

Oh, and how is Delhomme in the same category as Favre (future hall of famer) and Brady (potential hall of famer)?

wELL dELHOMME imo IS really great the guy is impressing me and you never know if he piles up good stats for the next 4 -5 years and has a super bowl he can be up there

he would've been named starter before week 1
:yeahthat:
I'd personally rather have Brown this season, I wouldn't want to lay an inebitable bad season on a Rookie QB(it would only be bad because Rodgers would be costing us games most likely).

It baffles me why anyone wanted Rodgers in the first place as there is no chance in hell he ever develops into a top 5 qb which is what you expect from a #2 overall pick, unfortunately were he here, he would still be starting over frerotte by mid season (because of frerottes lack of ability rather than vice versa)

rodgers was the best QB in the draft. extremely accurate, great decisions, great arm, great mechanics....he dropped because he's a "tedford QB" and because he's 6'2. he lost his top 3 receivers last year and still completed 70% of his passes in a NFL-type system. he's good

I agree. If he was a Dolphin I'd see it playing out kind of like Alex Smith coming in to replace Rattay. If Frerotte continually played bad, Rodgers probably would've taken over mid-season. Just an opinion as it will never happen now and doesnt really matter.

If we had drafted Aaron Rodgers, I highly doubt things would be different... perhaps even worse because we wouldn't have Ronnie Brown and I really don't think Aaron Rodgers would be our starting QB, it would still be Gus. And I doubt Rodgers would hardly get any snaps this season unless is were because of injury or the season already being lost meaning we're out of play contention and division was no longer in reach, that's the only way I could see Aaron Rodgers starting for us.

oh come on delhomme is regarded just like dilfer was when he won it all in baltimore (read: ok trent we throw 15 times a game now whatever you do think like that: completion = great, incompletion = good, sack = ok, fumble or int and you are cut)

I doubt it. I liked Rodgers, but I didn't think he was worth the #2 pick. Either way I don't think he'd be starting this year. I'd hope he'd play at the end of a few games but Ideally he'd sit for at least a year.

Delhomme is not Brett Farve but not Trent Dilfer. Jake is one of the best leaders, toughest guys, and is a very very good QB. Maybe not a hall of famer, but don't knock Jake. There is no Brett Farve in the NFL except for Brett Farve (I sound like Madden) There are no more Brett Farve breeds anymore. I am quite optimistic with Tedford QB's, for which just had one. Most of them are busts, Harrington, Akili Smith, Feeley, Boller, etc, I know there are more, help me out. Jake Delhomme put up 30+ points against the Pats D in the super bowl.

I don't know if he would start would've started week 1, but I do think he would've started half the games this year.
