If Sage Plays well....

i think Sage should sit at the #2 position on the depth chart. heck, i think he could do better than Gus.
 
You really have no idea what your talking about if you honestly think AJ will be demoted in favor of Sage.
 
Sage will have a good game, and people will claim that he's the next Dan Marino. Next game he'll do horrible and the same people will be screaming CUT HIM. This forum has some of the most unreasonable "fans" I've ever seen. They demand perfection from every player and coach at all times. It's sad and annoying at the same time.

U serious? Are you watching the game. Id be surprised if aj isnt cut after this. And youre saying I dont know what im talking about because I said Sage has a chance to move up? Were likely going to sign a qb and cut your boy AJ.

Sage started for us the last game last year and while not perfect, put up better stats than AJ did in any game.

Sage has also made less mistakes this preseason, has been with the team longer, and if nothing else has better decision making.

why is that so far off to suggest to move him above AJ? We just cut a guy last week who had double the completion percentage with 2 TDs over this guy who has thrown more INTs than TDs and has a 40% preseason comp. percentage.

yeah, you're right. it would be ridiculous to put Sage in front of AJ.
 
We should have just held open tryouts for the Qb position, would have found a better one that what we have. Honestly we have the worst Qb situation in football. I dont see us winning more than 4 or 5 games with this situation. I have to wonder what Saban was thinking, everyone from writers to fans were wondering what he was going to do with the Qb situation and his answer was Frerotte? I just have to shake my head. I really hope theres a longterm plan here becauses the shorterm plan is looking really shaky, unless Saban's plan is to ensure another top 5 pick.

All he has had is horrible games. He hasnt had one impressive performance. He doesnt deserve a job.
 
Sage has always pleased me as a backup...i always felt he should be official #2.
I just wish he had the chance to work with 2nd string offense more often ohwell..
I miss Marino so much.
