It will be plainly evident that Ross just doesn't give a crap if Sparano is allowed to survive this week. There is no reason for this team to look this bad. There is way too much talent on this team to be 0-5.
 
Every week Sparano is here, Ross looks like a more patient owner. He needs to improve his image imo.
 
How hard is it to see the big picture here? If Ross fires Sparano now, he gets a vacation from this awful team and he still gets paid.

We're not going anywhere, so why not make him earn his money by suffering through this misery?

Every week that Sparano goes out there and shows the world he is a bad coach, Ross looks better and better for trying to replace him.
 
Ross needs to keep moran0. He's so clueless..... An interim coach may win too many games to not get the #1 pick.

Looking at Sparano on the sideline I think it's increasingly likely that he will resign soon even if it means giving up a lot of money. He just looks like he's had enough
 
I think he and Ross could come to a Wannstedt type of agreement to "resign" where he gets part of his pay to "resign".
 
No, make him suffer. I want him to have to coach 11 more weeks of losing football, then get canned so that the new head coach can draft Andrew Luck.

Not necessarily. As another poster pointed out, Ross has to improve his image as a "patient owner" (the Harbaugh "interview" fiasco) or no head coach with any dignity will come here. Every week Tony coaches another stinker brings us a little closer to Andrew Luck.
 
We know what the outcome will be, but what does firing Sparano tomorrow really accomplish? It is a short week before the next game and mid season coaching changes don't ever really work. I think Ross keeps Sparano AT LEAST through the Denver game.
