Would they just cut Mcown or Beck? Whoever is winning in camp so far I think. Sims would be a great pickup I think. What do you think?

I of course, would love to have Simms as opposed to Beck. Dont see it happening though.

There is alot of bad blood between Simms and Gruden apparently.

Yea, I realize Simms is most likely a goner from there. The problem is we certainly arent cutting Henne. I also doubt seriously we drop McCown to get Simms. McCown should start and Simms is probably a backup at best. So really the only way we get him is to release Beck. Do you really see that happening?

I would take Simms over Mcown. He has a lot more potential I think. Also if Beck looks to be the starter (and so far I think he is) why wouldnt they drop Mcown to get Simms?

I dont know if the Dolphins would pick him up, but it is very tempting atleast to give him a chance to compete. I guess when and if the Bucs release Simms it could make us tip our hands to see how we truly feel about our QBs

Well first of all, McCown is going to be our starter. I might agree that Simms could have more potential, however, I think we covered the potential part of our QB depth chart when we drafted Henne. But, it never hurts to have two young guys with potential. Increases your chances of finding a long term starter. Which is why I like the idea of getting Simms and dumping Beck. Then we would have 2 younger guys with potential in Simms and Henne instead of just one. We could start McCown for the time being.

They still have time before he would be released to see who will start and who will not. I think that whoever is not starting you trade. With everthing good I have been hearing about Beck makes me think they will start him. Hey I want to win games and dont care what our QB's name is as long as we WIN!!!!

If Simms was any good, Tampa would hold on to him.

He never got a chance to be good. He got seriously hurt and then lost his job. Gruden didnt give him a real shot especially since their offense sucked also. Simms is definetly tough and I think it never hurts. Why not check out 4 QB's for the best 1? Increases our chances to find our next Marino (we can only pray).

I say work him out and see. Maybe get his butt into camp and check him out.

PS My quick reply keeps erroring on me, any fixes for that? I deleted temps and internet temps

It is happening to me to, but there is actually a video on Fox Sports where they say Beck doesn't even fit our team plans.
