Franchise for Left Tackle is going to be 12.8 million

It's 9.3 which is down from 10.1. I woud find it hard to believe it will jump 3 mil.

Think it comes down to value and what we can afford. Given the talent on the roster now even though we are close to the salary cap now we should be ok next year. The question is a few year's from now if someone like Tannehill develops and the whole of the roster improves there will come a time where not paying Long 10 million or whatever wouldn't be the right decision, because it would necessitate losing other talents. We aren't anywhere near that stage though.
