IF the Dolphins really wanted Flynn and Ireland messed up...

You have to believe Flynn was expecting more money from this off-season. I'm sure the Dolphins were aware of the Seattle offer and declined to go above it.

They just didn't want the guy.

It could have been similar money, but Seattle promised him the starting job whereas Miami wouldn't...

Why would you want Miami to promise Flynn the starting job? He's totally unproven. He needs to compete for the starting job.

Ireland didn't want the guy.

Even if Flynn wasn't the absolute BEST QB for Philbin, they knew each other and what to expect. He came here because he wanted to play for Philbin. That speaks alot.

In my eyes, if you wanted to fix the QB problem, sign Flynn to slightly more than SEA was offering AND draft Tannehill. The only way to gaurantee success is to make your weakness your strength. Great teams continually draft into their strengths. GB drafted Rodgers while they had Favre still in his prime. Then drafted Flynn while transitioning to Rodgers.

They continually develop the QB position. SMART TEAMS DO.

We must be the OTHER type of team.
