Right now the Dolphins have 3 consecutive games in which they have scored 30 or more points. The last time that has happened was back in 1991,with some coach named Shula and a QB named Marino LOL! The last time they had 4 consecutive games in which they scored 30+ was way back in 1987 again Shula and Marino. In that year they started their 30+ in week 4 just like this year AND two of our opponents were the jets and bills also 3 of those games were at home one on the road....were??? You guessed it at jets!

NOTE: In no way am i trying to say Sparano and Henne are what Shula and Marino were BUT they say history repeats so maybe we might have the beginings of something special!

well that sucks. lol

They had Tom Olivadotti.

We have Paul Pasqualoni.

There lies the answer to both records, and why the Dolphins didn't go undefeated during those high-scoring stretches.

and they both suck as DC's in their respective eras...

It's funny because they've scored so much sort of under the radar. At no point have I felt like we've had a high-octane offense (e.g. Pats, Saints). But what we've been is incredibly efficient. Henne and the offense have accomplished Marino-like points with Pennington-like style. It's quite crazy when you think about it...but highlights the failures and regression of the defense that much more.

If this continues for the rest of the season, Pasqualoni has to be gone.

Our defense dominated the best offense in the NFL for a half. The Saints scored two touchdowns on defense. Our D forced four-some-odd tournovers, and we came out with those three-and-out passing drives.

If you give the BEST OFFENSE IN THE NFL that many chances, they're going to score on anyone. Pasqualoni had them way overachieving. That's all you can ask of a good coach. He can't make them more talented.

It wasn't overachieving. They played the first half to win. The second half they played not to lose.

Not really. Playing not to lose would have been running the ball every play. Passing 28 times when you are up by multiple scores is playing like an idiot.

Henne is not the reason that the dolphins have scored more than 30 points the last 3 games.

The buffalo game was because of Vontae's pick 6 and the teams 250 yards rushing.
The Jets game was because of Ricky williams and the wildcat offense.
The Saints game was because of the defense which started miami on new orleans 4 yard line, 15 yard line and 19 yard line resulting in 17 points.
