If the Dolphins wanted to move on from Tua Tagovailoa, there are not many options

An article that doesn't mention Cousins as an alternative I can't take seriously.

Trade Tua. Get picks, and get similar or better production from Cousins. Done.
Our backups haven't really excelled in this system? I am curious as to why? I wonder what would happen if McDaniel had an offseason to develop a system around a QB with a different skill set.

Not going to happen. All three of these clowns are tied together unfortunately. They will all get 1 more year whether we like it or not, but after they fail again next year... they all 3 need to be replace and you start that by firing Grier first. Let the new regime bring in their staff. Good God it's not that hard Ross you ****ing idiot.

Lol so you want to replace Tua who’s 26 years old and has improved every year but his knock is he can’t beat good teams for “checks notes” a 36 year old who’s known for choking in prime time and has a 1-4 career playoff record in 12 years coming off an Achilles injury that even the great Dan Marino looked not the same after….

Yeah hard pass on Cousins

The only intriguing thing is the idea of the trade w the Bears. That said, Justin Fields career of 40 TDs to 30 picks is horrific. Why would anyone assume he can be good? Because he’s mobile?

PS and so is his career passer rating - yuck

I was listening to a sports talk show today and I think it was Pat Kirwin who said coaches get 2 years, maybe 3. Then you are looking for someone else.
I think Tua, McDaniel, and Grier are safe for 2024. If we play poorly (cant beat good teams, etc) I think Grier is gone. Maybe Mac and the new FO and coach team decide on QB.
