...they would have been on the road @ Cincy yesterday. How do you think we would have fared? I know it's hard to gague since their QB got injured, but it's nice to dream. :)
 
I think it would've been a great game but I believe Cincy would've had a slight advantage. Doesn't mean I still wouldn't be pulling for my Phins.
 
I think our secondary isn`t good enough for Chad and Houshmandzadeh. And their secondry is too good for Gus. But I also believe we`ll be much better next year. :dolphins:
 
If we had been in the playoffs it would have been in place of New England since the only way we could have made it was winning the Division which would have meant we would have been at home against the Jaguars not the Bengals.

Actually thats not entirely correct. Even after NE clinched the division there was a VERY small chance of us grabbing a wild card spot, although it was a very slim chance and we needed lots of help.

Nope...our playoff hopes died FOR GOOD this year when NE beat down T.B...so actually he IS correct.

Nope thats not true either

Our playoff hopes died when SD beat the colts

We could have won the last wildcard if the colts beat SD, and then the next week SD beat KC
 
Umm Chad and Houshy would have been in heaven with our secondary.... Cincy wins, hands down....

Listen...our only chance going into week 15 was the division...and when NE beat TB they clinched and we were eliminated.

Ya know there wasa team called PITT who factored in also.
 
Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh would be way too much for our secondary, but they're not too much for Deshea Townsend, Ike Taylor, and Bryant McFadden? Pittsburgh's secondary is very comparable to ours, so I don't at all see that as an issue.

Only thing I think is different is Townsend poops on anybody that we had in our secondary at the end of the season...

Well, our defense played VERY VERY well in Cinncy last year ( I was there) but Feeley decided to throw his regular pick to the house!! Our offense wouldve ran all over them and a few deep balls woulda been completed...Our defense wouldve ben the question..I say we woulda won 34-30.

That is not correct. If you would have checked nfl.com or this board for that matter you would have known we were not officially eliminated from the wild card until sd beat the colts. we would have needed sd,kc, and pitt to lose 2 of 3 if not all of the remaining games but there was still a mathematical chance up until sd beat the colts and pitt beat minnesota. we were not on the eliminated from playoffs list until after that..

Without Palmer, maybe... with Palmer, hellllll no... Palmer in my opinion is the 2nd best QB in the NFL

Not true! Yes, there was a team called PITT who factored in -- and that actually helped. If you go back and read the very thorough thread about our playoff chance (I'd have to find the link), it clearly states the things that had to happen for us to get in. And the fact that NE beat TB did NOT eliminate us. It was the fact that SD beat Indy -- that's what eliminated us.
