bottom line is we still have a chance (Despite how negative I have been all season long)...we have to take care of business...

this would have been much easier if tannehill didn't take one of those last second sacks in the bills, ravens, tampa games...

you really think he had a chance on any of those sacks from the tampa game?

We needed San Diego to win the other day.

The Pittsburgh game is HUGE.

Check out espn's playoff machine. You choose game winners and it spits out who goes to the playoffs and in what seed.

Baltimore has no shot of winning out. They have 4 tough games. They'll lost to NE for sure and more than likely the Lions.

A friend at work is a Ravens fan and is more concerned about the Vikings then the Pats. Regardless, the Ravens have a tougher schedule than Miami but that damn tiebreakers is looming large against us.

depending on the lions to win is crazy...that teams as inconsistent as they come

Call me crazy but I think 8-8 could actually do it. We need this one becuase I dont like our chances against the Bills there. Then Jets at home., anoher win would be a bonus but doubt we can get three wins.

Minn hasn't won a game on the road this year - I hope that first game is against the Ravens. They are no slouch and have improved the last few weeks. Ravens vs Detroit at Detroit on Monday night will be a tough one for them to win. Detroit is "inconsistent" as people say, but 3 of their 5 losses came from within a tough NFC North. If Bush is healthy that game should be Detroit -9.

I would actually really like to see the Bengals slip out of the AFC North, Ravens get the spot, and we slide into the Wild Card #6. I don't see that happening, but it would add to the craziness of December. Still, it comes down to Fins winning games.

Knowing the Dolphins . . . . The Bengals would lose 3 of 4 to finish 9-7, the Ravens would lose 2 of 4 to finish 8-8, The Steelers would lose 2 of 4 to finish 8-8, no other team would be higher than 8-8 and we'd end up going 7-9. Just how this team has been the last few years. I like playoff scenarios as much as anybody, but the one common theme in all of them is Miami controlling their fate. In 2008 a 5-0 finish earned us the playoffs . . . 3 of the last 4 years, a losing record down the stretch has cost us the playoffs.

It's all on the Dolphins.

DMarino110- what are you talking about? Bengals losing one would have no bearing whatsoever on Fins. And Miami winning out does not guarantee a playoff spot (especially combined with anything Cincy does.) Ravens have the same record and own the tiebreaker. If Bengals lose 1 and Ravens win out, Ravens go to the playoffs. If Bengals lose 2 and Ravens win out, Ravens still go.

That about sums it up. I was told by a friend after last weeks win "you don't even seem that excited" and the truth is I wasn't, because I know this team. We should be tied for, if not leading, the division right now. Extremely close loses to Buffalo, Tampa, and Baltimore put us in the same position we find ourselves in year after year…needing to win out, and require help from other teams.

I want to be excited, but so far this season we've gone 3-0, then 0-4, then traded back to back win/lose for 5 weeks. This inconsistency makes it incredibly hard to have the faith that we can run the table at this crucial time, especially with a team desperate to keep their playoff hopes alive followed by 3 tough division games to close the season. It's not impossible, but some homers here need to be realistic so as to not be massively disappointed if the miracle you're hoping for doesn't occur.

OP: a) Sylvia Browne is no more, b) ease up on BBT reruns, and c) get outta that basement apartment more often
