If the front office had to do it all over again....

If he could take back one thing, he would have parted ways with AJ Feeley from the start.

Taken a shot at a better Corner back opposite Madison and kept Daniels at the nickle spot for a year. We would have seen little of Reggie Howard at all. Next year maybe Poole pans out, but we'd have insurance against Madison leaving.

I think he wanted to keep Surtain, but because of the money situation it was not possible.

The Surtain move was necessary. We've rehashed this 100x. Salary cap, couldn't afford him, getting older, not in a position to go to the SB right now, got a 2nd rounder, possible knee injury.

Knowing what they know now, if Nick Saban had the chance to take back one thing, do you think it would be trading Pat Surtain??? I think we would have found a way to pay him.

Signed Terrell Buckley before the regular season started.

-Bring in Garcia over Frerotte.

-Sign a guy like RW McQuarters (who went for cheap may I add) when Poole went down

Knowing what he knows now?

He gives Poole the day off.

Yah cause bringing in another west coast QB for this offense would have been bright and he's really 'lighting' it up in Detroit. Lets also bring in a CB who couldn't get a CB job this offseason and is playing safety.

Sorry. Didnt realize our QB was lighting it up.

And you're right, our corners are doing fine.

Sheesh.

Jeff Garcia would be worse in this system. McQuarters I somewhat agree with...

I think he would have given up a pick to move up in 2nd round and get his man from LSU.

The corner that went 3-4 picks before us.

His name escapes me.

You're thinking of Corey Webster but I don't we would have had the ammo to move up to get him.

If there is one thing I feel Saban would do over would be to have obtained his QB of the future this past off-season. If you look at most successful teams over the past 10-20 years, they obtained they're future QB during their first off-season.
