If the Oline is so bad, how come Tannenhill passes for so many yards every season?

What the hell.

"If they are so bad"

You think this **** show was good? Or even "not bad" ?!??!

Wow

Wouldn't he pass for less yards if the Oline was terrible?

They threw the ball 75% of the time, with most of the passes behind the sticks. YAC.

beacause we never run

I'm gonna respond even though I suspect you're a newly-arrived troll, with an inevitable short shelf-life..... and also a good example to reinforce my crusade that Thread-starting should be a privilege that's both earned and revoked.

When he gets to stand up, he's often pretty damn good. It's a testament to his abilities.. and a tantalizing glimpse of what could come, that despite a chronically bad O'Line, he can still put up respectable numbers. The mind boggles what he can do with even an average OL, decent coaching and average linebacking and CBs. Hell, in '14, with those elements mostly lacking, and despite his late season swoon, he was a few boneheaded HC field decisions, receiver drops and bad defensive brainfarts away from being 10-6!

This dudes whole 16 posts are pretty much all just about bashing Tannehill. Nice. Clueless fool or troll who knows

So this thread inspired me to do a little number crunching... If Tannehill keeps at the pace he is on now, and were to play 17 seasons for Miami (same as Marino) this is what the numbers would look like:

65,705 yds (more than Marino's 61,361), 370 TDs (less than Marino's 420), 230 INTs (less than Marino's 252), Sacks (Not going there haha, he won't live that long).

I know the game is not the same as it was when Marino played... but still weird to think about.

If the Oline is so bad, how come Tannenhill passes for so many yards every se...

Didn't you already get your answer in the other thread. So, annoyingly you felt the need to start a thread on it.

Also, you're unaware that when teams are behind they pass more? thus your QBs numbers will be inflated.
