This weekend, what is going to happen? Will people start calling for Saban head or Culpeppers even more? I know ESPN et al have egg on their face but a reasnable fan had to expect some growing pains with a new coach.

But then again I understand the media OVER HYPED the Phins who I figured be a wild card team myself this year, but not a SB contender.. (and if you bit on their comments you have my condolensced but the Phins will rebound..)

If we get blown out,i relax because i know the season is over and i go into draft mode and hope that i see at some point if joey harrington is an option for the quarterback battle in 2007 training camp.

Lets not forget something, this particular dolphin team for the last 5 to 6 years does not play well when the pressure is on,i can't remember a big game that they showed up to play when the pressure to perform was on.

Now on the other hand this is how this team likes to play, theres no more expectations and were playing the patriots which we play pretty tough some times except when they count, this is a weaker patriot team than we've been playing for the past 5 years.

The reason why the patriots are sucessful is because they choose smart players that will execute with precision, there an amazing football team to watch because of that.

If doug gabriel.reche caldwell and moroney blow us out well then my friend we are finished this year and let the rebuilding process continue

No way we get blown out!! Trust me, you'll see!! I am not necessarily saying we are gonna win, but it is gonna be a VERY close game!!

I do see us getting blown out Sunday, hope I'm wrong. If so, I too am already in the draft mode. And I hope there are lots of QB's in the draft that teams want, not that I necessarily want to draft one, but because I would like to see Saban able to trade away opur 1st round pick for a lower pick, even a couple 2nd round picks. We don't need any more high-cost high-1st round picks IMO, they never get into camp on time and cost us too much salary cap space. Rather have several 2dn rounders that we could take a good OL player with that could come into camp on time and contribute, maybe turn around our OL.

WOW, that hurts. It hurts even more that there's nothing I can say to dispute it. It is 100% accurate. I can't remember a time when this core of players has shown up to win a big game.

Exactly, they always execute. If you make mistakes vs NE, you lose almost every single time. They capitalize on mistakes better than any team I've seen.

no way its a blow out. i think we will come out with a sense of desperacy and win this game

.

Last time I remember was during the 2000 season. We got one game against Indy (in indy) that was definitive in won the division. I think we got a 11-5 record and Indy got a 10-6 record. You know the one where fiedler did not play and Damon Huard threw the winnind touchdow to Oronde Gadsden. And two of course if you count the Playoff game that year. Last we have ever won. Of course that was a different team entirely. I think only thomas, and taylor remain. Let's see... Yeap only thomas and taylor. WOW only two players!? now wonder were screwed

If the fins get blown out by NE, fin fans will demand MM's head not Sabans.

because saban is a "great coach" and there is no way that he could be respoinsible for such bad play.

What difference would it make if we get 'blown out' or lose a 'close' one ...

Does a 'close one' leave for more hope ???

We could easily get blown out in Foxboro ... its an away game and a couple quick turnovers = blow out ....

The good news about this weekend is that the PATS' offense isn't playing very well .... [outside of maybe last week] ... so it should be a 21 point or less game .... like 17-14 .... 20-17 ...

Unfortunately, the PATS have a decent front 4 .... so unless McIntosh shores up the R side ... it will be another long day on offense ....

It would only be terrible because it's one more loss. Quite frankly, before the season started there were certain games that were going to be difficult and almost impossible to beat. That included Pittsburgh and New England. It wouldn't have been so bad if they beat the teams that they were suppose to beat.(Buffalo & Houston) Now the pressures on because they lost those 'beatable' games.

If we get blown out I will be upset for a while, then get over it and look forward to the next game. But let's hope we win so I don't have to go through the upset phase.

If we get blown out, then we need to rebuild. That starts with the QB. If we get a top 3 pick then we need to use it on a franchise QB. How often do teams get an opportunity to draft a potential big time QB? Very rarely.
If Quinn is there, they have to draft him.
If there are no potential franchise QB's then you just trade down, down and down and accumulate picks.

The word you were looking for was desperation. And I hope you are right.

Rooting for the win.

I think it will be one or the other, it won't be close (blow out, we lose) or we win.
