If the Phins won it all, how would you feel for Marino?

If the Phins won it all, it would be so bittersweet. Don't get me wrong, I would be ECSTATIC!! But if we just had a "game manager" QB win it for us, I would be happy but it would be so strange for Dan.

I think it would fuel the Dan haters even more. Thoughts?
 
Don't need a superbowl to feel sorry for Dan for not getting a ring, he deserved it probably more than any other player who's never won it all.

But it didn't happen and we gotta move on, i'm sure Dan has. Dolphins win the superbowl, greatest moment in my life.

Dan would be celebrating right alongside the rest of us...Dan is a Dolphin for life!
 
Dolphins = Shula and Marino and '72/'73 Dolphins. And that is the way it will stay until another Dolphins team wins the Super Bowl. Marino is the greatest and most exciting player in Fins history. The Dolphins are considered one of the elite franchises in part because he carried on the Shula legacy of excellence. We are fortunate to have had him play for the Dolphins.
 
You do realize he retired like what 6 years ago?? This isn't Dan's team anymore. If we would have won under Fiedler that would have been different, but even Fiedler's team with Ricky Williams wasn't Dan's team.

Bottom line is Dan never had a running game and if he would've had Ricky we would have won a few Super Bowls. If he had Ricky and Ronnie the league would beg for mercy.
 
Dan is and always will be a Dolphin,when Miami wins he wins.

Heck we're just fans and we feel great when we win,he was a player and a proud one at that.

Da Man will celebrate with us!!!!!!!

Even with this rag-tag line (doing decent under Hudson Houck), Dan would put up HUGE numbers with the receivers and running backs we have. I drool thinking about what Dan would do with Ricky, Ronnie, Randy, David, Chris, and Marty. NASTY!!! And we all know darn well that Marino could come back NOW, be a statue back there, and throw for 4000 yards and 30TDs with this group.
 
I'd be wishing we would have drafted terrell davis so that Marino would definately be considered the best QB of all time
 
I would feel great for Dan and every other Miami Dolphins fan, whom as I has been waiting for that moment since forever!!!!:D

Agreed, almost. IF our line protected for him, Dan could still throw today. And with our weapons, he'd compete with all the top QB's today. Dan still has the harm, he lacks the endurance and the mobility to evade anything!
 
Dan has a HOF ring now. A secure place in Dolphin history. I think he would be happy to see a Dolphin team win it all.

I would think it would be great but lets play one game at a time.... as for the thought on Marino I wouldn't feel bad at all he has been out of the league for 5 years... maybe if he retired last year than i would feel bad. This is a completely different team than what dan played on so if the haters showed up than they are just stupid ***** for not knowing this.
 
Saban is like gibbs he can win a super bowlwith different quarterbacks were a dominant defense and power running team with rail road track tailbacks GO FINS! were nasty boys
