If the Vikings game becomes a blowout, in our favor, and Duante was the 3rd Qb, would you put him in, with about 3 mins to go, to get us the last few first downs to run out the clock?

NOPE!!! That would not only be bad for DC, but an arrogant attempt to make more of something that is not...:shakeno:

I really don't know that he'd be interested in "getting thrown a consolation bone" by getting to touch the field against the Vikings. I'd assume he'd either want to start or have nothing to do with it at all.

Would be a petty and pointless desire from him.
Don't see it.

Bingo!

You nailed it, dumb idea IMO.

I'm undecided. I really don't wanna see him get hurt, but I also wanna see him play. I also don't like Childress.

I'd want to see Lemon for a whole game.

Well when he proves to the decision makers that he deserves a shot maybe we'll see him.

I don't see it happening unless you get to the final couple of games, there's nothing to play for, and Culpepper isn't healthy enough to put on the field for assessment of his play leading into next year.

while i agree with the sentiment that this is whole idea is silly, i must disagree with that last sentence. if he deems his knee healthy enough, im sure he would chomp at the bits at any opportunity to get on the field.

I think we just need to satisfy Mularky's obsession with Ronnie's arm, and throw him under center. Just get it over with already. Maybe we can run some HB passes with Joey in the backfield.

:sidelol:
If Mularkey were here last year, Ronnie would have been the QB and Ricky would have been the HB.

Actually, both of those option plays turned into passes on Ronnie's choice, not Mularkey's.
