a 2nd and 3rd round pick for Taylor I think you have to do that. What do you guys think? I would even consider the other reported offer of a 2nd and 4th from the Browns. If you can get two picks above the 4th round I think you do it with the current state of the Dolphin roster. Focus on developing other team leaders. Taylor's actions speak volumes. Wouldn't you be tired of the re-building mode in Miami if you were him? And he knows he will not have time to lead the current lot of players to victory (he is 34). I don't think he views the progress as on pace with that of the Giants (Strahan). Trade Jason now, or there will be little to receive. If you don't care about that kind of thing, then keep him and watch him retire, then attempt to sign with a contender later.

He wouldn't report to Minn. regardless. It must be a bonafide contender.

I doubt Packers make the offer now. Favre is retiring.

That would be all the more reason to do it...

Are you serious? Link? Shocking if he is.

Anyway, as much as I like JT, if we can get a 2nd and a 3rd, pull the trigger.

The defense will be that much more important now.

No rumors up in Minn about this as a possible deal. Not sure where that's coming from, but I've heard nothing up here about this. My guess is that if there is a deal, it probably will be very quiet and not done until right before or at draft day. That way BP and Co. can keep everyone guessing at what we are going to do.

The Packers are still good though. Brett retiring DEFINATLY doesn't help, but they still have a good D, and are very young. It all depends on Aaron Rodgers, and he hasn't showed jack. The Vikings and Packers both look like eachother right now, with nobodys at QB and a good D. Minnesota has the better running game, but don't count out Ryan Grant. That kid showed somethings last year.

That being said, I am not for trading JT. I just think that he is too valueble to us right now. We cut Zach, and that is where it should end. I can't bare to let both of them go.
