It's not about Marshall being anything. It's about trade value! We got ****ed in the ass on this one. Two 2nd rd. draft picks to get him, and he gets 2 straight 1000 yd seasons and we let him go for two 3rd rd. picks. ****ing ABSURD!!! We lost so much value on that trade. This organization better have a good reason for this because from the looks of it they are pretty dumb for this move.

So EVEN if we get Manning + Wayne, we get the old, past their prime players and not the good young one.

This is a pathetic day for our franchise.
 
Patience friends... Don't be so quick to judge. On paper, it looks pretty bad. but let's let this play out.
 
this aint a move to get manning. Stop kidding yourself. this is a move cuz our owner and GM r morons. I have considered ever swaying away from being a fan until today. This is pathetic.
 
The more a player is traded the more their value is diluted. Even if he had two 1,000 yrd seasons, he's 2 years older + drop balls + everyime he catches it he has flashbacks of that catch against Dallas which means he takes two steps back in order to get into better position to break a big one because he thinks he always can. Also I'm sure he's not an easy teammate to deal with. It's SMART to cut our losses now. Ireland's not stupid, his detracktors are. That's the truth IMHO.
